We stopped at the Comfort Inn in Marion twice on our last trip. We were driving with my 87 year old mother from Iowa to New Orleans. We needed a comfortable place for a good night's rest after a day of driving. This motel met...More
You can tell they have tried to upgrade this hotel and are doing a pretty good job. The halls still snell like smoke but once in our non smoking room it was clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We were going to...More
We needed a place for the night and blindly chose this place. We pulled up and the parking was a bit limited. Check in went smoothly and when we got to our room, it looked O.K. Nothing fancy here. The rooms are large, but could...More
I stayed at this hotel for just one night while traveling from St. Petersburg, FL, to my home in Missouri. It is a great place to stay as long as you don't get a room with a doorway from the room to an adjoining room....More

Hi, I agree this is somewhat confusing. You will actually drive past the Comfort Inn, which you will see on your right when you are heading North on I-55. Take the "Shoppingway Drive" exit, turn right on Shoppingway Drive, go about 1 block to "Block Street". (I know, ^o^) Then turn right on Block Street to head back to the Comfort Inn which is on the I-55 access road. You can probably turn right again on Walnut, it lets you get on the access road heading back south. It is kind of a long way to make a u-turn, but sounds harder than it is. The road accessibility may have changed when you arrive. But above all, the hotel is definitely worth the time.
Hope this helps you have a great experience.
