Amazing beautiful hotel! Amazing beautiful hotel! The design, the view, the beach villas, the spa... this hotel is just astonishing. Everything that the the reviewers wrote is true. My points to improve: quality of the thai restaurant which could be more wow for a Ritz. The butler service is nice and convenient when you don't stay long in the resort. Having centralised info's about the requests of the guests would be more efficient. Negative points: hotel far from everything. No real life at a walking distance but if you stay 2 or 3 nights, you don't need to go out from the hotel. Would definitely come back to the Phula Bay

What can be said about Ritz Carlton Phulay Bay other than THE BEST hotel/resort I have ever stayed in (and we travel extensively all over the world). From our arrival being greeted by the Hotel Manager to our send off ceremony everything was so very special. I had no idea i ever needed a personal butler at a hotel but Arty (our personal butler) made every aspect of our day go smoothly and so very special. After a day trip to Huang Island and climbing what seemed to be a million steps to get to the 360-degree lookout (our legs were sore) we come back to our Villa and Arty had already prepared a hot bubble bath waiting for us! Amazing Service. The entire staff was so courteous and professional and made every moment special. This is a very small hotel (in number of rooms - less than 60) but covers a large footprint so you feel like you are the only one there. If you are a beach person and enjoy laying around a beach all day this may not be a good choice as there really isn’t a beach per say. There are lounge chairs and fay beds throughout the resort overlooking the breath taking bay and also a VERY LARGE infinity pool. We are at all 3 restaurants and each was excellent. Can’t wait to come back to this beautiful resort again.…

What an unbelievable experience. From the moment I entered the property until I left my guests and I were treated like royalty. Our host Arty was fantastic. The detail in every aspect of the hotel is simply amazing. I will definitely be back again :)

We were lucky enough to stay at this beautiful property for a week in mid-January, and it has reset my expectations of luxury accommodation in Thailand. The architecture, the gardens, the rooms and the breakfasts (OMG the breakfasts), and the incredible “California-king size’ bed were something else. It’s just a beautiful place. But what really sets this property apart, is the staff. Without exception they were incredibly warm, welcoming, kind and proactively helpful. The site GM took the time to meet and greet every guest within the first day or two and was very visible making easy conversation at breakfast and often at sunset drinks. A great ambassador. However, our ‘butler’ (seems an antiquated term and not quite appropriate, but anyhow), Habib, deserves extra-special mention. Habib anticipated what we would want before we knew we wanted it. From a rose-petalled bubble bath (in the enormous tub) drawn without asking when we returned to our room one evening (so over the top and unexpected, but delightful!), to a very thoughtful small tub of aloe gel waiting for us with a lovely note of concern that we had been out kayaking and may have got too much sun. This hotel is unique in my experience. No ‘reception’ desk that we saw among the gorgeous pavilions, but when you have a Habib, you don’t need a reception. I hope the Ritz Carlton organisation recognises what an asset they have in this young man. He elevated our stay from just an ‘ordinary’ luxury hotel, to an extraordinary experience. We had an absolutely blissful stay at the Phulay Bay. The room and the view was next level, and the bed…just wow!!! I’m still dreaming about it. The food was amazing, the architecture was beautiful and the service was excellent. Our butler Bib was simply brilliant. He took care of us so beautifully…and he had such a kind and gentle demeanour. We couldn’t recommend the Phulay Bay enough and hope to come back very soon!!

We had an incredible visit, and were married on the beautiful beach at Phulay Bay. The staff, facilities, architecture, and setting are all exceptional. We greatly appreciated the kind attention and service provided by our butler Habib, who ensured both that any requests we had were promptly attended to, and that the preparation for our wedding ceremony were complete. The restaurants from the beach bar to the Thai Sri Trang to the seafood based Lae Lay were outstanding and in lovely settings. Beginning the day with a wonderful breakfast on a patio with an ocean view was always enjoyed. We participated in several complimentary activities including the boat trip to Hong Island, hiking on the Naga trail for a sweeping view of the peninsula and the sunrise, and kayaking off the beach. The villa was exceptionally comfortable and had a lounger overlooking the plunge pool and the ocean, which was enjoyed daily for coffee and afternoon siesta. It was a wonderful experience, and we look forward to celebrating our anniversary at Phulay Bay on a return trip!…

My recent stay at Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, was nothing short of spectacular. Nestled on the stunning beaches of the Andaman Sea, the property is surrounded by breathtaking nature and scenery. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by Valentin who was incredibly friendly and informative. I had the privilege of staying in a luxurious villa, complete with a private pool. The villa was spacious and tastefully decorated, with all the modern amenities you could ask for. The bed was incredibly large and comfortable. I was especially impressed with our personal butler, Busaya Bua-on (Boos) who took care of our every need and made sure my partner's birthday was special. She was always available to answer any questions we had and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. During my stay, I took advantage of the hotel's many amenities, steam room, sauna, vitality pool and spa. I also enjoyed the Thai cooking class with Aong who has been cooking at the hotel since it first opened and had plenty of local knowledge. The food at Phulay Bay was simply amazing. From the delicious breakfast buffet to the ama Seafood restaurant lae lay overlooking the bay, the cuisine was exquisite. The staff was also incredibly friendly and accommodating. Overall, my experience at Phulay Bay was one of the most luxurious I have ever had. The traditional Thai-style architecture was beautiful, the service was top notch, and Boos made sure our every need was taken care of. Phulay Bay a very unique property from the reserve series. The beauty of the property and its environment was so overwhelming that it took me some time to be able to articulate what I see before me. A definitely must visit and stay when visiting Krabi. Our stay there was very enjoyable at every second, the villas were beautiful and very comfortable. We were there for 6 nights and everyday we were exploring different parts of the property. Food is good and restaurants view are beautiful. Lae Lay is a must go! Service is brilliant another level, during our 6 nights stay we were taken care very well by our Butler Habib and his team. We were pampered by the team in Phulay Bay with their care and wonderful interesting activities and events they organised. A big thank you to Ian too for being such a good host and for organising. We had a wonderful experience at Phulay Bay, already planning to come back for an extended stay next year. Pros: - Services: This is the strongest point at Phulay Bay, staff always willing to help and improve guest experience. Special thanks to Bao & Na who helped with pre arrival requests, our amazing butler Habib who made our stay very smooth and pleasant from the start until check out, Ken from spa who gave my husband the best thai massages, and the whole team from pool bar who is always there to provide best in class service - Room: design of the villas is really unique and modern, also extremely romantic. The signature 4x2 meter bed was one of the main reasons why we wanted to visit Phulay Bay, and it turned out to be the most comfortable bed we have stayed at! - Spa: very good massages and facilities. The couple massage suite is the largest we have seen, with both indoor and outdoor treatment facilities - Food and beverage: the F&B offering is among the best in Thailand, every dish and cocktail we had was delicious The only downside is lack of sandy beach. Hotel offers complementary shuttle to Hong Island, however the beach there (despite being beautiful) is public and crowded. It would have been better if Phulay Bay can rent a small private beach area on the nearby beach (every hotel there has loungers on the beach).…
