I booked my husbands private birthday dinner on the beach with them. After weeks of finalising the details they verified the dates and said they would send a payment link which never came even after asking. On my husbands birthday after we had planned the whole day around the sunset dinner, had ordered a taxi and were getting ready, they emailed to say the private beach dinner will be changed to an indoor table as they didn't have availability!!!!! I could not believe the audacity. They were not at all apologetic and said that only after full payments are bookings confirmed despite the fact that they had confirmed the date and time with me several times and never sent the payment link. They must have had some confirmed booking if they felt the need to email me to change the table. A very very untrustworthy, rude, and unreliable business who ruined my husbands birthday, our whole evening (as it was too late to make other plans) and showed no remorse whatsoever. Please avoid this joke of a place with no sense of hospitality.…
Quiet peace of paradise from our suite. The Haven suite is beautiful, and the view from our pool was unbelievable. But luckily for us, we had our own sun loungers. If you want anything on the beach, then you better get up early. They’re already all gone by 7:30am, people put their towels out on them all day long. There’s possibly not enough for the amount of guests on site. We went on a private island hopping boat tour and had a picnic, we couldn’t recommend this enough. It was very special and one of our favourite trips anywhere in Thailand. Romantic dinner on the beach is also a must, the food is very good, and also the private butler. A lovely hotel with stunning scenery. On our departure day, they couldn’t wait to check you out, but there seemed to be a lack of help regarding our transfer, which hadn’t been an issue at any hotels previously on the rest of our trip. Which was a bit of a shame, as the rest of our stay was good. That could be improved. …
Amazing boutique hotel with lovely welcoming people looking to make your stay special. Brilliant buffet breakfast with freshly made egg station, avocado on toast or Thai food or hot English breakfast plus usual cakes, bread selection [coconut jam is yummy] all covered carefully and fresh portions brought out regularly. The fruit was so tasty and each morning the bar had a different super juice freshly squeezed to try. All rooms including ours are close to the beautiful beach and pool. Both restaurants are extremely good with local Thai food for the adventurous plus check the back page for more familiar Thai dishes. Italian was surprisingly delicious with soft crispy edged bruschetta and delicious fresh toppings for pizza. We had great fun with the onsite Thai kickboxing classes which we had never tried before and picked up so much in just two classes. The teacher was great at taking us step by step to learn key moves at a pace we could follow. The free shuttle pass we used to go to Krabi Town and the night market. A fun experience where you could eat and shop and be entertained as there's a stage with local acts on. For the night we visited it was a children's talent show with varying talents which was great to watch while sipping our cocktails. Even at the market safety and hygiene were taken seriously with gloves in use and stall holders wearing masks. I have an egg and dairy intolerance but found it easy to eat by using a photo of the condition written by a local to show to the stall holders. The hotel's other trips are also worth a mention with the walk up to naga mountain worth the hard work since it's fairly steep and a bit of a scramble at times but great views. We had a personal guide to take us there. Plus the boat picnic trip was so romantic and the food so special with a three-course Thai picnic with fresh fruit as snacks seeing tiny little islands, snorkelling or just admiring the unusual landscape. Such a special experience. Evening entertainment was varied with the saxophone very talented and some singers soulful but one couple a little warbly for my liking but very familiar tunes so still a good listen and not too late. Hotel also helped us book a trip to Tiger Temple with pick up at the hotel which included swimming in hot spring water. If we had stayed a little longer we would have spared time for yoga mornings, definitely more Thai boxing and the cooking class but we just couldn't squeeze more into the week we had. Top tip...make sure you have cash for National site access fees and the Tiger temple tour is paid in cash directly too. Also hotel boat trips are direct from beach in front of hotel....so easy to get to. Other tours can be arranged by yourself like the James Bond Island tour we asked for which picks up from hotel but this does take an hour to get to the pier. We'll worth it though but hotels own tour was better.…
Superb, beautiful, top-tier service intuition, detailed and thoughtful. luxury and nature combined into a beautiful vacation mood Great value for money, fun activities to Around but also just perfect to relax on beach and enjoy. The restaurant located on the hotel are good enough considering the Thai cousin, great Italian restaurant, but prices are high relatively
We had a very enjoyable stay overall. The food at the Italian Restaurant is excellent and good at the Thai restaurant. All the staff are very friendly and will go the extra mile to assist. The resort overall is very well and sympathetically built so you do not see anything behind the properties on the beach. The beach area is very clean with nice sand. If you are considering booking, things to be aware of, if these are important for you: -the beach is relatively small so when the resort is full you do feel a little bit on top of each other -they are not allowed loungers on the beach so you have bean filled low chairs which are comfortable but not for long stays on them. Also, when busy, they do not have enough for everyone when you end up on a flat bean bag -it is not an adults only resort but was not an issue for us -if booking a pool villa be aware they have different types. Photos show a large pool but there are a couple with much smaller (almost plunge) pools. Some are set back from the beach with trees providing privacy but this also means the room is pretty dark inside all the time. Great bathroom and outside shower. -not a regular drink service on the beach -the spa is very nice as is the pool area -very child friendly -very peaceful Overall a very good stay.…
I was there in the middle of January 2023 The location was beautiful quiet, relax, clean Lovely staff delicious food, Thai and Italian. Amazing spa, Super beautiful font beach you can swim the whole day without disturbing by boat! I love lunch picnic on the HONG land, well organized 😍 and delicious 🤤 I definitely return and recommend.
Absolutely loved our stay here. This was the last stop on our 10 year wedding anniversary trip to Thailand and it was by far the best hotel we stayed in. The setting is beautiful and the hotel is super stylish and designed to work in harmony with the surrounding natural environment. We stayed in a Premier Pool Villa for 5 nights which was sublime with a good sized pool and outdoor bath. The mini bar was complimentary each day. It has great facilities including a decent gym and a Spa where I had a fabulous massage. The shop is also great for souvenirs and snacks / drinks. There’s a good sized pool but as we had our own we didn’t use it. The hotel is located on Tubkaekh beach which is breathtaking with views of Hong island that never get boring, especially at sunset when the colour of the sky is mesmerising. The sea is calm, shallow and like bath water. The hotel puts out bean bags and tables on the beach which are pretty comfortable. My only complaint is that for several of the days we stayed a group of guests reserved the best beanbags everyday by leaving their towels and books on them first thing and only appearing after lunch. I feel that the hotel should stop this happening as there are staff that look after the beach area. Water activities such as kayaking and paddle boarding are provided free of charge and you can arrange a longtail boat trip to Hong island and the surroundings through the hotel - highly recommend doing this! There is also the option to join a free Trek up the mountain behind the hotel which we originally booked but then cancelled as it was so hot and we were enjoying the hotel so much. The restaurant food was really good as were the cocktails. We had dinner in the Italian one night which was okay but nothing spectacular. We thought the food in the main restaurant was much better. Breakfast is amazing and not to be missed! There are a couple of cheaper Thai restaurants 5 mins to the left of the hotel - we ate lunch their once but didn’t think it was as good as the hotel. To the right of the hotel there are several hotels but we didn’t bother trying their restaurants. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. They arranged a late checkout and moved us to a small room for us to use as our flight wasn’t until 8pm - we therefore got to enjoy a full day at the beach and shower etc before our flight. Overall 10/10 and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel. We’re usually very active but the surroundings and hotel itself were so lovely we didn’t want to do anything other than relax and enjoy it which is what holidays are all about.…
What a beautiful hotel on a perfect and secluded beach! The place was immaculate. The service was excellent! The front desk service was over the top. One of the service ladies by the name of C went above and beyond to accommodate our travel plans. In fact She even met us at the harbor on her day off to see us off to our next destination. We will definitely come back again! Thank you for the excellent experience!
Such a beautiful resort on the beach! Staff was really attentive and went above & beyond to make sure we were taken care. They helped my fiancé prepare a surprise engagement dinner at sunset for me. I can’t wait to come back for my wedding this time! I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to relax and get away from the busy world!
We spent 5 amazing nights in this resort in January with our kid of 16 months old. The resort has an amazing vibe, very chilled but still classy, SPA is world class and what I was really impressed about was the level of service and the quality of the restaurants. Both the Italian, but in particular the Thai restaurant were amazing. Definitely recommended, the best one on the beach and surely a place to treasure. We had room 161 by the sea with a pool and it is definitely recommended.
