The hotel and staff were fantastic- the overall experience was fantastic. From housekeeping, restaurants and front of house all nothing was too much trouble. Special shout to kannika superb We couldn’t fault the hotel, staff and location
Such a chilled out relaxed resort on a beautiful beach. Service wax amazing with nothing being too much trouble. Only stayed bed and breakfast as ate at local restaurants outside of gate, lots of local choice with a great cocktail bar just down the road, breakfast was good. We mainly went to club room for this as found it more peaceful and had everything we needed including a cheeky bucks fizz. We overlooked a large lily pond which wax fascinating to see and hear all the wildlife. BreezePool was good although not lots of sunbeds and would have been good to have adults only. Lack of bars at night so would been good to have some kind of beach bar open a little later. Really enjoyed our stay and would definately return.
July '22.. I stayed at the Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort with my family and my team, which included 66 members including some families, as part of our celebration trip. I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The resort is vast and well-equipped with a range of facilities that kept everyone entertained. The beach volleyball in the morning was a hit with my team, and the swimming pools were simply amazing. The rooms were spacious, well-kept, and provided a comfortable stay with gorgeous views of the ocean. The gardens were beautifully kept, adding to the overall beauty of the resort. The indoor games facilities, such as table tennis and badminton, were an added bonus and allowed us to enjoy our time even when it rained. The kids club is great doe young kids. The breakfast spread could have been improved, but the staff were friendly and professional. The beautiful beach and the fantastic location of the resort were highlights of our stay. The resort is situated on a stunning stretch of Krabi beach, surrounded by lush tropical landscapes and crystal-clear waters. I highly recommend the Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort for a memorable vacation. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a fun-filled family holiday, this resort has something for everyone. Special thanks to Urs Lienhard and Chanisa Bunsuwan for your wholehearted support to make our trip, truly memorable.…
A wonderful stay in this idyllic beachside setting. I could not fault anything. Particular highlights were the amazing swimming pools, the aqua fit classes and En who gave a brilliant Muai Thai class. This hotel is worth the money and I would come again for sure.
This was our first visit to Dusit Thani, it is a lovely hotel, spacious rooms with super comfortable beds and a good bathroom with an excellent shower, we had a deluxe sea facing room. The gardens are delightful and give a nice tropical feel with lots of beautiful birds and wildlife to observe. Breakfast was good, it can get busy at times and we did occasionally have to wait for a table, it did feel like the dining area really should have more space considering the size of the hotel, it was the only area where it did feel a bit crowded, but everything on offer was of good quality and plenty of choice. We spent most of our time at the beach which was really lovely. There were always beds for everyone and the staff down at the beach are really good at helping you move beds around if you prefer shade etc. We didn’t use the pools as we always prefer the sea but they were both beautiful and not too crowded, there is also a huge grassy area between the pool and the beach with beds dotted all around, it was great to have so much space. Klung Muong is a small, very quiet place, there are some decent places to eat but not really bars as such. Our favourite place for lunch was The Sandbox, go down to the beach and turn left, go past the bigger thatched roof place (can’t remember what that was called but it wasn’t very good). The owner is a super friendly Portuguese guy and the food here is excellent, right on the beach front with gorgeous views, only open until about 6 in the evening tho. Another highly recommend local spot, just outside the Hotel, is the Coffee Club, go outside onto the road and turn left. It’s a humble little place but don’t be put off by it’s simple design, the food is really good, both the Thai and Indian offerings, the spring rolls were genuinely the best I have ever had and the chicken Tangeri Kebab super tasty, the staff here are very friendly and helpful. Thaan Bai Lay (may not have spelt that correctly) in the opposite direction, was slow good, a lovely setting right in the beach with lots of good seating options, we tended to get a taxi down there from the taxi rank outside the hotel which we used quite a bit, then we would walk back along the beach but you do need your torch on your phone for this.…
We have had a fantastic holiday at the Dustin Thani hotel. Although the weather has been quite changeable, there have been plenty of classes in the D-fit centre to keep us busy. I can recommend the aqua board strength and flow classes in the pool with Nicha and abs and core in the centre, also with Nicha. She is a very good coach and encourages everyone with great enthusiasm! All of the fitness instructors are excellent! The hotel itself is set in beautiful gardens overlooking a lovely beach with a shallow entry in to the sea so safe for children. The sea view rooms are set back overlooking the gardens and the sea.
We booked last August. Checked carefully that hotel had shuttle bus service to Ao Nang to pick up boats. It does not. Taxis will cost you baht 1000 for return journey each day. If you google today adverts come up free shuttle. 1 restaurant shut

We stayed in the Dusit Thani several years ago when it was a Sheraton hotel and we were pleased that it had retained all of its charms. The USP of this hotel has to be the wonderful setting. Yes it has a great beachfront location but also has grounds that are well maintained and so spacious that it allows guests to spread out in a variety of settings. Watching the numerous birds such as bee-eaters, bitterns and parrots is great but nothing compared to watching the monitor lizards lounging on the lawns. They could make so much of this environment by running guided/self guided tours around the site to highlight the wonders that inhabit them. The staff were all friendly and willing to help with any questions. They were also pro-active in trying to make guests have a comfortable stay. An example of this was by laying on courtesy transport to Ao Nang and Krabi Town on two nights so that guests could avoid the noise from the concert that was occurring further along the beach. Our room was comfortable and well equipped and we found the breakfasts to be varied. They even had fried English style sausages. That's the first time that we have had these in Thailand. We would return to the Dusit Thani any time we visited this part of Thailand.…
