We were given a family room upstairs and right at the end of a corridor! Not ideal when you have a family's worth of luggage and two young children to herd! The room, once we got there, was fine. Usual standards of cleanliness and facilities. Nice view from the window. The main bed was very comfortable, but the children's beds...

Stopped on way to Folkestone. Nice room. Lovely restaurant next door. Receprion staff very welcoming and bubbly. Only negative was in the morning whilst rushing to get ready for tunnel crossing that we discovered our 'fresh' folded towels were damp.

Just a quick overnight stay but it was really nice & the staff here are always excellent - really friendly & helpful, willing to share a chat & a laugh without being nosy or overbearing - just nice people. Food always good & reasonably priced, good selection even for non-meat eaters. Beds really comfy, good range of foods for breakfast,...

Very different experiences over two days. Depending on which staff were on duty dictated the level of service. Breakfast staff were great and very welcoming. Rooms were of a normal standard, just wish the family rooms were not near the normal rooms as very noisy at times. Please note this hotel does not have a lift, so this may cause...

A very good room, nicely decorated & positioned with matching wall pictures very comfortable bed, large TV and quiet(providing really good sleep) -what more could...

Nicely presented hotel with pleasant staff and clean rooms. Only gripe with the room was that the bed was actually very uncomfortable and gave us both back ache. Restaurant was nice, breakfast of a good standard.

Nice clean room, friendly greeting, comfy bed. Nothing else needed. Breakfast was next door in the pub. Waitress was on her own so service was patchy but food ok. Buffet needed topping up - something the duty manager should have helped with. Nreakfast was reasonably good value.
