The frozen microwaved taco looking things they call egg omelets with a slice of American cheese are still be served at this hotel. I stayed further up the road the next night and that Holiday Inn affiliate had scrambled eggs. The bed has seen better days and the three Showtime movie channels were running exclusively movies from the last century. Everything was clean the shower was decent enough, but some genius put a restrictor on the faucet in the bathroom sink. There were like 12 little streams that hardly produced any water. If you turned it up, they hit the sink and shot up all over the place. If you turned it down, there wasn't enough water to catch in your hand to even brush your teeth. Everything was clean and orderly and there were 4 carts for bringing up luggage. Points were outrageously high but that seems to be the standard practice for this chain since covid.…
We checked in very late after driving several hours. The room was spacious, and very clean. The staff were very nice, there were great products in the bathroom, a huge TV, a Keurig coffee maker, and good A/C. The linens were fantastic, as were the pillows. The bed was quite comfortable. The only thing we could find to complain about was the shower floor, which was quite slick. My husband was first in, and nearly fell. He warned me, so I was very careful.
We stopped at the Holiday Inn Express without a prior reservation at around midnight. The person at the front desk was welcoming and the whole check-in process took about 5 minutes. The room was extremely clean. The bedding, pillows, and mattresses were so comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
This is an upscale HIE that is far enough from the interstate to be quiet, but close enough to be convenient. There is abundant, well-lit parking. A heated indoor pool complements the HIE breakfast. Above all, however, this hotel is modern. The bathroom in our unit was well designed and brightly lit, and the furnishings in the bedroom area a light tan with chic lines, in contrast to the dark and clunky furnishings to be encountered in so many older HIE hotels. We would stay here again without hesitation.
Very quiet and clean place. The front desk personnel were excellent and the staff was great. The petit Dejeuner was OK. The rooms were clean and fresh as well. Nice place. Close to WalMart and eateries
Unlike a lot of other Holiday Inn Express locations, this one is off the highway and allows for a quiet night. The room and bed was typical of HIE - clean and comfortable. But, the shower head in our room ran more like a faucet. When I reported it to the front desk at checkout they seemed genuinely concerned. Breakfast was standard HIE fare. The only concern I had was a lack of a hand sanitizer dispenser close to the breakfast area during this COVID-19 virus period.
Sorry we love dogs in their proper place, not through out a public hotel. We specifically asked if they kept dogs in a certain area or certain floor. We were assured by Drew that they were only on the 1st floor. We were given floor 2. Then as walking away we noticed the man ahead of us with a large dog going into the elevator. ???? Turns out he was going to his room on the 3rd floor. So much for what Drew told us. When we confronted him he said, oh well at times we put them on other floors. Dog hair,Dog dander,Dog smell is as offensive as cigaret smoke/smell to many. Disgusting...as is well known many owners have their dogs sleep with them. We personally do not want to sleep where a dog slept. We would have left other then traveling for over 10 hours we were exhausted, next time we face this type if situation we will go some where else. This morning going down to the lobby, greeted by 2 more dogs as well as the large smelly one. Nice! The halls smelled of dirty dog, elevator too. People who own dogs many times are so use to the smell don't realize how offensive it is to non-dog owners. Generally they smell like dog just like cigaret smokers smell of cigarets. We DO NOT recommend this hotel. Odors indicate bacteria .. Dogs carry bacteria & there is plenty of bacteria here. The lack of cleanliness is very evident. We left, breakfast had lost its appeal since the same gentleman with the large smelly dog, who smelled like his dog was having breakfast. That doubled the lack of appeal. Do we sound harsh? Spending over $100 for a room, one does not expect such a situation. We enjoy feeling clean.…
Easy check in despite a quick rain shower. Nice comfortable, clean room. 24-hour access to coffee and tea. Nice full breakfast each morning. Complimentary newspaper. Easy access to highway. Nice staff makes this stay enjoyable.
Very pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff. Everyone makes you feel welcome and make an extra effort to make sure you have everything you need. Rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is very good. I highly recommend the stay. Price is very reasonable.
If you are looking for a place to stay on I-40 in Arkansas this IS the place. We spent 1 night here and were delighted by the accommodations. The extra table on wheels in the room provided a great place for us to eat. We drove through KFC and were able to bring it back to the hotel room to eat on the portable table. Our family of 4 each had a seat around the table and enjoyed our KFC from the cleanliness of the room. The only thing that could be improved would be the shower head in our bathroom, but I hesitate to mention that because our stay was otherwise perfect and exceeded our expectations. (Note: We have traveled quite a bit this summer and have stayed at Hyatt Place, Best Western Plus, the Quality Inn, and other Holiday Inn Express properties. This property was one of the best we have stayed at this summer. Properties vary by management and newness of the hotel. We were pleased with the brands listed with the exception of a stay we had in Ozona, Texas.) Breakfast was great too! The coffee was above average.…
