This hotel belongs to the group Small Luxury Hotels and is priced accordingly so expectations are high. The good: position and view, pool, restaurant and bar are in a stunning setting, well maintained and tastefuly decorated. The atmosphere is very casual. The pool and bar service are good. The rooms are a bit of a let down as they are...

Myself and a friend were looking forward to trying this restaurant do to the lovely views and hearing about the organic garden. The service was quite personal and consistent, the views as expected were amazing. The scenery alone was worth a drop by lunch or dinner alone. The food was a bit shy of volume but was generally quite tasty,...

Casa Bonita is the address to stay in the fabulous coastline that runs from Barahona to Pedernales, with breathtaking views, jewel-like colours and hillsides spilling with palm and mango trees. The best features are the swimming pool area as well as the river spa and the zip line built amidst the Bahoruco forest. Plenty of things to do and discover...

This lodge is nestled in the mountains, you have both a beautiful mountain view and a stunning ocean view. The hotel is at the top of a hill, which you get to up a very bumpy gravel road, one part of the road had been washed out a little scary at night, especially as there is no lighting of any...

We have stayed at this place for 3 nights and it was simply amazing! It is a 3.5h drive from Santo Domingo where we have landed, but this part of the island is so beautiful and non commercialized. Somehow out of nowhere there is this beautiful resort siting on top of the hill a few minutes from the beach. Nice fresh...
