I spent a night in Los Cocos with my family, a standard room and we all were very comfortable. The rooms are clean, small but not cramped, a/c works really well, there's a small fridge and it has a private parking. The service was very good as in most places in Chetumal. There's a small pool and a group Jacuzzi...

Nice looking hotel. Room was updated and clean. But, like most other hotels we experienced in Mexico, had maintenance issues: cold water faucet was stuck; bathroom door was badly rusted; towels were clean but old. The friendly front desk told me the post exchange rate was for room payment, no currency exchange; and also recommended a restaurant that turn out...

This hotel is about average, front desk staff was helpful and efficient The bed was ok Not a place for an extended stay, but I wouldn't hesitate to come back. The food in the restaurant was very good and inexpensive. I had the coconut shrimp, huge shrimp and more than a dozen on the plate. Walking distance to downtown.

Stopped in this city on the spur of the moment. We like to stay in local flavor hotels. This one was perfect for our one night stay. The staff was very friendly and offered to show us several rooms in a variety of price ranges before we committed to staying. Our room was very clean and an overall good value....

I just returned from a 2 night stay at Los Cocos and must say that it was very comfortable. The staff was really accomodating and very pleasant. Rooms were clean, simple but clean. The hotel itself was clean and kept well. Free internet service was nice. The location of the hotel was very good, lots of places that were within...

The service staff were pleasant enough and the desk clerk recommended us an authentic local place to eat. I found the check-in process on par generally speaking. Obviously Chetumal is not the lap of luxury and I don't have a point of comparison as this was the only hotel I stayed in - but I would decidedly not return. The...

Stayed here one night mid-January 2013. The hotel should be the best in town (poor, ugly town!), but one cannot expect anything special. Location is in the real city center, close to museum and market. We took a standard room ,that was located in the basement, with a strong musty smell. Towels and mattresses are very old. Our room was...

Everyone says the Holiday Inn is the best in town but we stayed at both hotels (our first and last night of the 2-weeks trip) and Los Cocos is definitely better. It lacks lots of things but it's just OK. Room was small. Mattresses and towels were really old. Pillows were not that nice. Shower is excellent (although very small...

Hotel Los Cocos was the perfect place for our 2 night stay in Chetumal. The hotel is centrally located on the main street, which was great for walking to restaurants and shopping. The room was clean and the hotel grounds were nice. We ate almost every meal at the hotel's on-site restaurant and were never disappointed. I would recommend this...
