Stayed here for six nights in an air con room in Narai 1 at Bt 350/night. Though, for the air con to have effect it must stay on at all times 24/7. This old house is of wooden construction. I have been in Songklah many times already and i would never stay in another hotel anymore. First: the owner is always helpful and gives it a nice familiar feeling. After looking around at many places and asking for cheap prices we settled on the Narai hotel, we stayed in the older bit... as JStaley says the picture on this review is not the same place. The room was clean the bed comfortable, its nice and quiet, easy walking distance to the beach and lake, plus a nice temple next...

Narai Hotel is located at the base of Tang Kuan Hill. It is a very old and simple 2 story hotel which was divided by the owners 50/50 into the 'hotel' and 'guesthouse'. The rooms have been renovated and it is definitely okay for the price. The picture shown with this article is NOT the very simple Narai Hotel/Guesthouse.

Stayed here for 1 night. Room had been renovated. Clean & comfortable. Large hotel. Some staff at breakfast rude and unhelpful. Alright for an overnight stay. The hotel is a bit out of the way not close to any trains.

Thank LYN H
