Quality of food is good. Outdoor dining is excellent beause of the well kept garden and view of Gilgit River. Service and staff are good too. However the menu is limited and if you order anything after 8PM there is a possibility that you might not get it. We ordered a simple chicken dish and it was not served to us because chicken meat was not more avaviable in the pantry. Overall it is a nice place to enjoy food esepcially in the evening.
The hotel's speciality is their Qurma which is pretty good actually and the price is reasonable too. The service is also good but the best thing about it is that you can dine outside and basically enjoy the view of the river while you are eating. The sound of the gushing river as well as the not-so-hot weather (perhaps due to the closeness of the hotel to the river) adds to the aura of the place.
We chanced upon this hotel, when we were trying to search for another hotel nearby. We were impressed by the room conditions, the garden, and the service by the staff in the hotel. The owner was friendly. He even bought us some cherries from his village. Hotel staff brought us to market to get cherries and other fruits. Breakfasts and lunch was good. The best part is, one can just sit in the restaurant all day and enjoy the beautiful Gilgit River view. The garden was beautiful. I took so many photos. We stayed here to avoid the noise and crowd in another hotel. The hotel staff are friendly and understand what we want. Bed was comfortable. Hot water shower was good. 5 minute away from the Gilgit Airport. Don't go to the airport too early though, they only open at 715am.
