The hotel which might have been built in the 1980's, charges its age and no longer meet the expectations of today's foreign tourists.
The room was clean but...
- Some windows have mosquito nets instead of panes, so we spent the nights with the concert given by all insects outside, and we got a little cold in the morning.
- The sheets and towels were all stained and smelled very bad. I needed to ask the front desk twice to change the pillows as it was impossible to sleep with such a moldy smell.
- A 5cm cockroach strolled on the towels in the bathroom.
The attendace in the hotel confirms this condition of abandonment: during the 2 nights spent there, we were the only guests.
Pro:
- Hotel away from Rantepao, very quiet (except when the insects wake up at night).
- Helpful staff, motivated and good english speaking.
- Good breakfast (beware of the unfiltered coffee).
- Effective Wifi in the lobby.

They really need to renovate, at least the room interior and bathroom. Add some wifi spot.
The room is spacious, but the interior is too dated.
Sometime the hot water working, sometimes the water from sink is hotter than water from shower.
The amenities are on budget, so i suggest to buy at minimart around rantepao,
The location are quite great (eventhough it quite far from the city center), specially if you want to travel around Rantepao.
The hangging Lamp quite disturbing.

We spent 3 nights at this hotel, we were only 6 tourists and we enjoyed it. The rooms are big and very pleasant, balcony facing the mountains or the pool, special mention for the staff which is helpful, professional, extremely kind and thus contributing to making our stay so pleasant. If you have a chauffeur, it is the right place at such a good price, the hotel is located at 3km from the center of Rantepao. On the minus side, the bathtub needs a lifting so one can enjoy a nice warm bath as evenings are chilly.
Would stay there again.

This was our hotel for our Toraja trip. Large convention center hotel about 4 km from city center. The manager can make all your arrangements for car or motorcycle rental, onward travel or bus. There is a beautiful pool which we didn't get to use. Next time! Breakfast was a small menu, but there was plenty of famous Toraja arabica coffee! Rooms were clean, plenty of hot water, but took a little while to warm up. Bed was comfortable and a fan would have helped to move air, but you don't need air conditioning this high in the mountains.

Nice hotel that was virtually deserted the 2 nights we stayed there. Nice room but no a/c so you had to rely on the altitude to keep cool. Evening dinner menu was pretty good. Breakfast is a choice of "American", "European", "Indonesian" and "Continental." Internet poor to useless and they have the brass to charge, although only 10,000 IDR per hour. Helpful staff. Bathroom was adaquate, but toliet paper was hard to come by.
