the village is a beautiful place to stay .The reception was very welcoming i really loved the room setup because they are clean and have an air con.. there is a beautiful outside view especially during the night. if u have business stuff to carry out they have wifi for their visitors.....lastly i was served a delicious breakfast....

Spent 6 nights at this city lodge in the Midlands. The room I stayed in had a thatched room and modern furniture. It was also very roomy with comfortable beds. The conference facilities were also quite comfortable.

The Village Lodges is my favorite places to be when I don't want to be very far from home. My most favorable is Suburban Village along Shurugwi road just a few km from Gweru CBD. I love the rooms even their conference rooms are lovely too. The food is very good but there is still more room for improvement.

I stayed here for a week and accommodation was great and comfy. Love Love the rooms but i did have a wee bit of challenges with WiFi and the whole process of getting to breakfast in the morning. Other than that, its a beautiful SAFE place cause i would take late night jogs and walks and felt safe cause the guards were every where keeping watch. Also the bar is a hit on Wednesdays.

This hotel is a hidden secret. The park has great lodges, a good restaurant and a very nice pool. You can also (not included) have a ride through their own animal park. It's a bit far from shops so you have to use the restaurant on the park but that should be no problem.

I Stayed in the Deluxe rooms, the room was clean and immaculate. The room was air conditioned and the WiFi was fast. The meals were well cooked and reasonably priced though the beverages are not cheap. The staff are friendly and the place is conveniently located close to a major highway. The environment was serene and quite.

This is a prime resort for accommodation, business meetings and ordinary get together. Conveniently located on the Harare - Bulawayo highway, there are many reasons to stop by including real Chinese food from inside premises. Enjoyed the corporate luncheon hosted at this venue.

The lodge has got immaculate rooms, both the standard and deluxe rooms. The hotel rooms are neat and tidy and air-conditioned. Surprisingly the bed in my room has got a fitted electrical blanket guaranteeing warm in winter, this is over and above the aircon. DSTV is available though I have noticed that those in control of changing the channels tend to forget that there are others watching the same channels in their rooms. Room WIFI is good, whilst the rooms are also spacious. The breakfast meals are average, whilst the working restaurant is some distance from the rooms and there is no shuttle available, indications are that the restaurant nearer to the rooms is currently undergoing refurbishment. The Surburban Village Lodge is a nice, quiet place located just outside Gweru CBD. The place is quiet and is blessed with a host of tropical forest type of vegetation. The trees makes the place cool and serene. The birds are seen flying all over the place. The conference room that we used for the five days made our business meeting successful.

Rooms are a good distance from reception (security guard at gate does a dance each time you pass through which is amusing). The rooms are very comfortable but slightly run down (handles to wardrobe coming off, wonky toilet seat) - new sink and furniture in room. Wifi not wonderful. Service in restaurant and reception was brilliant. The restaurant is mainly chinese food with huge portions. Excellent breakfast (mince and veg with my bacon and eggs).
