Nice hotel, has its own farm. Good food but you do not really understand from the taste of the food that the ingredients are coming fresh from the farm. Nice walk is possible through the coffee plantation (very short walk though) some rooms have a fireplace. It is good place to stay if you are around, but not very interesting...

Lovely property. Rooms are fabulous and spacious. Service for laundry is inexpensive and speedy! Back in a couple of hours. The food was just okay. Lots of carbs! Potato, rice, polenta at every meal. Meat was scarce. Breakfast included made to order eggs and crepes they call pancakes with bottled artificial syrup unfortunately! The vegetables as others have reported are...

Try to give yourself more time here. The buildings and garden are fabulous. The rooms are HUGE and luxurious. They grow their own food, so the meals are super fresh. The staff are fun. The other reviews tell an accurate story.

We stayed here on our way back to Kilimanjaro airport. The rooms are huge and the gardens are beautiful. Be sure to head to the main lodge for sundowners and a show by "Babba-dingy" and "Mama Babba-dingy". I wish we could have stayed longer to take a tour of the gardens.

Overall very good. Nice place and atmosphere. Did not have time to explore all the fasilities since we came late and left early next morning. We are a family of four and the only thing I am missing is the option of a family (4 beds) cabin in stead of 3 beds in one cabin and 2 beds in another...

Excellent Bungalow-style Hotel in an extensive garden, where they also grow their own fruits and vegetables and maintain a coffee-plantation. Good food, commendable service and hospitality. Some bungalows are 5-10 min. walk away from the restaurant, but no problem. Free wifi in central restaurant-area only.

This is my third stay here. As always, the ground are beautiful and lush. The rooms are huge and well appointed with GREAT showers (especially nice if you have been experiencing "bucket showers" for a few days! The staff was very pleasant, but I must say the food was a bit disappointing on this visit. Food is served buffet style...

Me and my fiancé stayed there for one night, on our way from the crater. Try to REQUEST A ROOM NEXT TO THE RESTAURANT, as most rooms are quite spread out. We had one of the last rooms and it took us over 10min to reach the restaurant/ reception. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable....
