We were stunned when we saw the size of the rooms, really very spacious! They organize walks through the grounds with explanation of the coffee they grow themselves. There's also a happy hour where you get a house cocktail (or juice) and some bites to eat for free. We stayed here for two nights. For dinner there is soup, a...

I totally agree with the other reviewers. ' Going' we stayed at the Farm House; coming back from our safari , we stayed in the sister adjoining lodge that was built last year. It is a bit more modern but equally wonderful. I rated the meals equal to the two other hotels in which we stayed. The have a guided...

The first thing that comes to mind is five star Hawaii resort without the smell of Plumerias. The grounds are spectacular. The lodge has incredible grounds that include both vegetables, coffee and ornamental/flowering plants. It rivals a large resort in Hawaii in every way except it doesn’t have the smell of tropical flowers. But what it does have instead are...

This hotel came as a huge surprise on our safari trip in Tanzania. Located near the Ngorongo crater, this hotel is actually a farm that produces all its vegetables and own coffee, offering a unique natural setting for you to relax in. Our room (Mango cabin) was huge and had the most comfortable bed in a long, long time. This...

This resort is a sprawling property that includes a coffee plantation. It is located very close to the gate of the Ngorongoro Caldera. The extensive grounds have walkways from one area to another and pass by a gazebo, the pool, the outdoor terrace and restaurant, then proceed to the various chalets named after animals in Swahili. The rooms are quite...

“The hosts of each lodge anticipated our needs and served us before we even asked. Our trip was amazing due to the service and lodging at every stop! The outside camp fire at the wilderness camps were some of my favorite evenings. The staff at the Farm House and Wilderness Camps were so gracious and attentive. Highly recommend staying at any of the establishments owned by Tanganyika concepts! Exceptional rooms and service!”
