Springlands Hotel is tucked deep in the heart of Moshi. The roads leading to the place weren´t so good (December, 2015), almost rendering the place inaccessible; I hope this has since changed. That notwithstanding, the Springlands Hotel is a lovely place with warm people. The chef is AMAZING! So we always looked forward to our meals. I was lucky to...

If you are booking with Zara Tours, and going to climb Kilimanjaro this hotel was perfect. Large outdoor pool, friendly staff, and really super food, served family, buffet style (lots of it!) The ride from the airport was faster than I thought (45min) and the transportation to and from Moshi (about 7 min) left every 30 Min. Oh yes the...

I stayed at this hotel for a couple of days prior to and upon returning from my Kili climb. Just before I left for the climb, I put my money and passport in one of their lock boxes. The lock was a bit tricky and the guy "locked" it for me and gave me the key. Upon returning from my...

This is a utilitarian hotel, catering to the Kilimanjaro climbers and safari travelers. The basic facilities are all in place - rooms are ok and clean; a small swimming pool; bar and restaurant, food is fine, service is very good. Wifi was available at the common areas, with reasonably good speed.

Lodge was very nice, staff was accomodating and helpful. The room sizes vary, so ask for a large room. Found the gift shop to have interesting variety and afforable. Meals are good, not spectaculare. Front desk was accomodating.

This is a friendly, social hotel. There´s a lot of interesting people, from various of countrys, to talk to. The rooms are clean enough and the food is good and plenty. There´s an ok bar and pool. Its a great place to start and finish at before climbing Kilimanjaro. So its more a place to have as a base for...

Stayed at this hotel night before starting climb of Mt. Kilimanjaro and on return from climb. got the impression everybody staying was doing the same thing or going on safari. Ideal base for doing this. Very friendly hotel with adequate accommodation - nothing fancy but clean and comfortable; an ideal base for starting and finishing Kili climb.

Comfortable room, friendly staff. Good food. I also enjoyed the pool and sauna and had a necessary massage after climbing Kilimanjaro. The only negative point was the 40 dollars per room extra as had a late flight. It was not made clear otherwise we would have checked out. More of a miss understanding I believe.
