We were here for 2 nights in Feb and had a pretty good stay. The rooms were nicely done for an African standard (say 3 stars). The pool didn't look that inviting. The food was alright and the bar area was nicely done. Don't count on seeing Kilimanjaro from here. It was always misty when we were there and only...

We booked our trek to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro through Ahsante Tours, which reserved a room for us (two adults) at Weru Weru. The price was $150 per night. This seemed a bit steep in light of the prevalence of hotels in the area. Here a few comments: 1. Breakfast was included with our overnight price. Breakfast was decent...

We stayed here before and after our Kili climb. Rooms were comfortable and spacious and the food was plentiful and good. The only negative was that there is a loud party at night for the groups returning from Kili (which we also enjoyed after our climb), which makes it very difficult to sleep the night before your own climb. We...

Really pleasantly surprised at this lovely hotel ticked away off the main road near Moshi. Rooms and facilities were very good and the staff very helpful. Hotel and staff very organised to help with back storage and other plans before and after Kilimanjaro climb. Superb post climb gala dinner with local performers was a very welcome surprise and far exceeded...

We stayed here following our Kili climb to relax. Booked a mountain view room, but were given ground floor lodge with view of another building and a hedge. Disputed this with reception, they blamed the weather. The reception came to find us later in the day to say they didn't have all the details of our booking despite checking us...

Stayed here at beginning and end of Kilimanjaro climb. Staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms well equipped and comfortable. Food choice is fantastic and chef listens to all requests.

The lodge looked like a welcoming haven with such well appointed facilities and rooms. And nice grounds. Beyond that the lodge was disappointing. The pool was full of algae. There were only 5 lounges by the pool to accommodate everyone who wanted to enjoy the pool. They ran out of pool towels. The restaurant menu was very limited and the...

We really enjoyed the lodge, rooms, shower and food as well as the friendly staff at reception, bar and restaurant. This was an excellent place to relax after the climb to Mt Meru and before as well as after the Kilimanjaro summit. We would go their again.

Weru Weru was the lodge we stayed at before and after our Kilimanjaro climb so we stayed in 2 different rooms. The rooms are big and the AC is good so we were comfortable. The hot water takes a long time to get warm and the showers were a bit mildewy. The food was hit or miss at the restaurant....
