The views are... amazing? Spectacular? Breathtaking? All of the above! The food is standard Tanzanian dishes but very well prepared, and seasoned better than usual. The staff is very friendly and helpful! The rooms need a little attention and a few ceilings showed signs of leaking. Be advised that the road up to the lodge is very steep and rough...

Two years ago my wife and I were here for recreation and we were told the lodge was under renovation. We stayed for one day, made a review for TripAdvisor and promised to return after the renovation. When we visited two years later, Yes, Indeed the hotel was renovated even though not 100% but looked more beautiful and more attractive...

If you're in it for the view of the majestic Kili, the location couldn't be better! Their food & service is also lovely. Truly disconnected from the world, it is the most solitude I've felt in a while (in a good way!). I spent my day walking around, reading and exploring the valley around. Must however note that the ride...

We very liked the hotel. The staff, especially Lenny, were incredibly friendly. One evening after dinner it felt like we joined a family. We heard some African music in the restaurant and Lenny danced to it. We all laughed together, and they kept the bar open only for us. The staff cared a lot and tried to do anything to...

My husband and myself spent 2 nights at Mount Kilimnjaro View Lodge for our Honey Moon. How to say... it was one of our best experience in Tanzania! Lenny and all her staff (Hi Nancy!) are very welcoming and really want to make your stay as beautiful as possible! We did also a one-day-trip to see waterfalls, how to make...

Delightful lodge on top of hill, overlooking Mt. Kili. Extremely helpful staff. Early morning, pre-breakfast, Tanzanian coffee jar in the front door of cabin, so kind! Breathtaking views. Delicious home-made food. A little far from the road, take that time and cost into account when planning your trip, but depending on your schedule it is truly worth it. You will...

This place is a beautiful and lovely place to stay. We came here first thing before climbing Kilimanjaro, and stayed for 2 nights. The lodges are cute and simple, with nice hot showers, generator electricity and plenty of warm blankets. The Kilimanjaro view was spectacular as described. They also cooked delicious meals for us and chatted with us about the...

We stayed with 6 people at the Lodge and had an absolutely amazing time! The drive up there was a great experience itself. We passed by little villages with kids waving and smiling at us, through banana and coffee fields and up a great road with awesome views of the forest, valleys and the kilimanjaro! Arriving at the lodge we...
