We chose this hotel because I had stayed there for a month in 2008 and had a very positive experience and felt right at home. During my previous stay, I found the staff and hotel manager to be exceptional, extremely service oriented, and treated me like family. I also loved the rooftop restaurant/bar that served food anytime during the day...

stayed almost a week there and was absolutely satisfied, despite the incredibly noisy main street in Moshi, the rooms as they r in the back r very quiet; just the terrace gets the full from the street, but here u get an excellent breakfast buffet (!) and early morning nice view of Killi, before the clouds move in. The staff...

We were travelling in a group of ten so it was very good to have the rooftop bar to socialise and some more room when sleeping in dorms. Very central to a number of amenities like the ATM, bureau de change and a number of shops and restaurants. Also the staff were very helpful.

No frills budget option in central Moshi. Place is decently clean and the staff were helpful in getting us bus tickets to Dar. The breakfast is ok but nothing special. Two minutes out the front doors and to the right is great little street food place. Wifi is decent.

We stayed in the Kilimanjaro Backpackers for two nights. The rooms were very, very small (about 6 square meters), but clean and had a fan on the ceiling. The beds were okay and had mosquito-nets. Showers were outside the rooms and comfortably big. The Staff was friendly though we haven't had too much contact, because we left early in the...

There is not much to say about this hostel. A lot of people come and go and stay short time. It's ok and just a normal backpackers accommodation. It's clean and the people are nice. Actually all people in Moshi are very nice! We liked the city. The accommodation has a rooftop with wifi but unfortunately the bar is/was closed....

We stayed here after the Same Group Hotel "Arusha Backpackers" and we had the exact same problem. The hotel was very cheap, was safe, the bathroom was very clean and had a nice warm shower, but we found some BED BUGS in our room!!!!

Nice place: Pro: nice rooms, really hit shower, nicely located, nice crew Cons: breakfast's bad, laundry service brought back wet laundry (not as agreed on), bathroom and shower dirty with footprints and not constantly maintained.
