This is the first place I have been to where they let wild animals (zebra and water buck) roam freely on the fantastically manicured lawns. Some of the more docile Zebra allow you to get as close as six feet away. The resort is set on the shores of lake Naivasha, so close in fact that guests are advised not...

We stayed at Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge for one night and enjoyed the stay, however it did feel a bit like a 'package deal' style of lodge. There were many Kenyans from Nairobi staying the hotel for a government conference which we took as a good sign for the security of the lodge. The rooms in the lodge were quite...

I was in Naivasha for a 3 days work shop wich take place in this magnific lodge. I agree with rocky"mountainrider" who tell realy all thing about staying in this area. As wel as the animals (zebra,water-backs,birds) who are living in front of the lodge and also other wild animals who are living out of the barrier like giraffes and...

Our first experience of living with the Zebras..had a fantastic time..However we paid quite a higher price..So negotiate well. .Food is ok..but the staff goes out of the way to prepare your choice of food..

Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge was the nicest lodge we stayed at during our safari. We had a first-floor room which was very large including a large bathroom and a separate sitting area with a tv. The room had a deck where we sat and watched the animals grazing on the open lawn area between the lodge and the lake. The...

Awesome rooms and location, but food and management service is not up to standard. I love the interior design of the rooms. Well made, and they are clean. However, the food, and the service does not match the quality of other lodges similar along Lake Naivasha.

I have been to Simba Lodge before as the organisation i work for often uses the hotel and never have we been treated like we have been this time around. Right from reservations in Nairobi, a lady called Dorcas told us for our last night 'tujipange'...yes she used this word meaning, sort yourself, as they expected us to check out...

All these rates are based considering that we're in Kenya, so proportionally to the reality of the country :) We stayed at the Lodge for one night, just to rest between our trip from Ol Pejeta to Maasai Mara. These are our highlights and rates for them. Location, surroundings, landscape 8/10- the situation of the lodge is good, next to...

Too pricey for the quality you get. Friendly staff, but when you ask for something slightly outside of the regular, one refers you to another, the next one to another supervisor and so on... Then they get annoyed when I get impatient and just want an answer. No, I am not asking you to go outside of the hotel policy....
