Very nice camp which has options of Banda (with attached toilet), rooms with no attached toilets or camping. We stayed in a banda for a night and one night in a room. Banda: Banda has 4 beds and is a mid sized cottage with attached toilet. The toilet does not have a door but you can draw a curtain. The...

Room options include Bandas which were cool as the temperature dropped in the night and small twin rooms which with windows were warmer. Very warm with everything shut up during the day. Excellent campground, modern wash houses, great restaurant (reviewed elsewhere) boat trips to see hippos and a tremendous amount of birdlife some visiting the restaurant. Close to a number...

It is a wonderful place to Camp by the shores of Lake Naivasha. The food is excellent and the waiters are very friendly.Oh same to the manager of the Camp. I will recommend this camp site for any person who would like to have a quite day/evening by the lake side. I will have to visit again in April 2017.

One of the best campsite's in East Africa. One of the best restaurants in East Africa. Quiet and chilled. Very chilled. Noise is not allowed here! If you live in Kenya, you must visit. If you are traveling through Kenya, don't forget to stop by!

I loved my stay here! It has a beautiful location right on the lakeshore with plenty of campgrounds, although I stayed in the dorm, for the most part I had it all to myself! Showers are amazing and restaurant had great food and decor (when I was willing to pay the price). Staff friendly and not the usual backpacker-party scene...

The location is great and for camping this place is perfect. The double rooms are very expensive for what they are on the other hand. Its also a good place to start your bike trip to hells gate NP. The food here however is the real highlight!

A nice, quiet place to spend a few nights on Lake Naivasha. The resaurant was really nice and the food some of the best we have had in our 1 month trip to East Africa (we would recomend the Swahili Curry). We stayed in a room with shared bathroom facilities. The rooms themselves were basic but clean and comfortable. The...

We were booked into a Banda by the tour company. It's beautiful facing the lake. Our Banda comes with 4 beds, shower, towels, soap. As part of the package, it has dinner and breakfast. You can choose from the menu and the food is great. The restaurant is very nice, has a swing, table tennis, volleyball. Overall experience was great....

I was so looking forward to this break. On arrival, the reception was empty and we waited ages for a man to arrive. Oh my goodness, he was so unhelpful - Customer Service Zero.... Needless to say, we found the Accomodation ourselves... It was OK I Guess, but nothing like I was expecting especially as it was so expensive. It's...

Despite telling the waiter clearly about our dietary preferences (vegetarian) and we got served crayfish curry!! The waiter referred us to the kitchen and the chef had conveniently left for the day. The manager only bothered to show up when we refused to pay for the bill. I wouldn't recommend Carnelley's to anyone!
