We have always enjoyed our stay in sopa naivasha. Rooms are really comfortable clean and peaceful. Food is good...cant say great. U could maybe increase on the variety. The wildlife around is the main highlight around the place. Giraffes, monkeys, zebras, waterbucks, hippos at night!!! Wow that was amazing. Have visited 2 times and both times swimming pool was being renovated. Kids kinda got...

If you are/were unhappy with the place, your expectations and priorities are totally out of kilter! Opened in 2003 it does show some wear and tear, but it is clean and well managed. While I have to agree that some of the restaurant staff is a bit complacent and slow, their heart is in the right place. You have to...

Other reviewers have noted that the rooms in Sopa are a bit tired. I'd agree with this, and I do think they would benefit from a refresh. Also, yeah, the houskeeping chap did hang about a bit putting mozzie repellent out. I did feel a little like he was on the mooch for money. Which wasn't forthcoming. However, the outlook...

The property is nice with large grounds and animals. But right from check-in to check-out you can see that this is badly managed. The rooms and bathrooms were not cleaned - one could see hair, paper etc. The rooms and bathrooms are really tired looking so also the linen - towels etc. The room attenders are quite irritating hanging around...

You will not want to leave this beautiful quiet retreat at the edge of the Lake. How can one not be overwhelmed with joy at the sight of the giraffes, monkeys and hippos in your backyard during the day and at night outside of your room!! It is just an idyllic spot and the staff is overwhelmingly kind and polite...

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at dinner, with staff coming singing and dancing with a cake! The buffet (breakfast/lunch/dinner) was so huge I couldn't even try everything. The beef stew and ugali was my favorite at dinner and the staff were welcoming and very friendly. Enjoyed all 3 meals at the resort and were pleased to see animals so close...

Although we just went there for a breakfast buffet while returning from our trip to the nearby Lake Oloiden, I would like to say that the experience was really nice. Apart from the great architecture of the whole establishment, they also have a really big park reserve where you can spot Giraffe and Zebras among other animals. The staff is...

Everything was huge, from restaurant to bathroom, to rooms. Amazing food. Large grounds to walk around. And animals around . was beyond my expectation. Even more surprising to find a draft. Loved the live music.

It is back home to 10 giraffes, numerous waterbaks, some buffalos, great number of various birds, some colobus and vervet monkeys. Housing around 80 rooms for nature lovers.
