They don't offer bottle service, waiter had to measure how many tots fit in a Black Label bottle and charge per tots was quite surprised. Don't do bottle service at the Vic hotel. The Hotel refused to provide me with a basic bathing sleepers, you pay ksh 8,000/- for the room with no bathing sleepers claiming it's only for those...

The rooms are clean and comfortable with reliable fast and free wifi. If you are concerned about mosquitoes, do not fret. The staff can spray the room during turn down service. Moreover, their queen sized beds are surrounded with a tall mosquito net.

After a horrendous night of sorting out cancelled flights and rebooking, the Vic hotel was a much needed pleasure. The staff was splendid and so caring and just plain nice. They did everything they could to accommodate the entire flight. The owners were also very helpful and came themselves to pick the passengers up late at night. The room was...

I stayed here for one night on a filming trip. We were a big team and we were well received by the friendly staff. The rooms are cozy and comfortable with air conditioning and wifi access. The food was fine and there is also a swimming pool.

Nice room, nice staff. Very clean and comfortable. Hotel includes two restaurants (three if you count the breakfast buffet). All food was great. Pool was excellent. Gym was disappointing, but they did have a few cardio machines and some weights. Locks on window were broken. Smelled heavily of bug spray. Large landfill less than 100 feet from hotel smoked and...

We hadn't planned a stop in Kisumu, but due to late night car troubles, we needed to find a safe place before driving back to Kampala .The Vic was absolutely terrific--great rooms, spacious, good facilities, clean. Excellent breakfast choices and the staff were above the norm. Given the options, we were so grateful to find such a safe, clean place....

Stayed here in November 2016. It was my first time to stay here. Has very friendly staff, nice spacious rooms and good food. Everything worked from Wifi, Hot showers and the TV. The mall is also nearby incase you need to buy anything. I highly recommend it.

Loved being here. Its a little bit on the end part of the town ... and there is a new bypass that avoids getting into town and avoid traffic to get to the hotel. The staff here is amazing and quite helpful. Food is 50-50 good.. they can improve a lot. There is a relatively well stocked supermarket just right...

I stayed here, In September for 4 nights. I have been visiting Kisumu on and off for 11 years with voluntary work and normally stay at the Sunset which seems to have gone downhill a bit. This time I needed 3 rooms, and for me, a bit of Kenyan friend and my sister and teenage niece on their first visit...
