I had high hopes for Maun lodge, have lived in Maun previously, but never been at Maun lodge, but I was pretty disappointed, the place seemed a bit old, and with no personality, with a price much too high for what is just an average 3 star tourist hotel, and 125 pula pr. person for breakfast is just way too...

The lodge is comfortable. Wifi is excellent (20Mbps) when you can connect. The rooms are not bad but the bathrooms are a bit damp. Service is good and the staff try to make you feel comfotable. Lots of flies in the restaurant area. Food is good but the variety is limited. Laundry service is efficient and so is airport transfer.

Service at reception was poor - a long wait both checking in and out - but the service at the delightful thatched bar overlooking the river was good. My veggie pizza there was very tasty and large (despite being "medium"). Breakfast of freshly cooked bacon and eggs was also good. The room, in one of the unattractive blocks some distance...

We stayed over in Maun at the start of a week long Botswana trip. The check in service was fast, friendly and efficient. We were booked in a budget chalet and the room was clean with comfortable beds. Although this was a family chalet the coffee and tea set up was for 2 people only but this was not an...

The hotel staff was kind and helpful. I rented a small Chalet room, which was perfect for my stay. The room has a thatch roof, but is also equipped with a mosquito net and well functioning AC. The food in the restaurant is fine, and there are nice views looking out over the river. The hotel is simple, but it...

I struggled with bugs in my room and the aircon appeared to not be working at the time in my room. However I did enjoy the breakfast buffet menu, not so much the dinner buffet menu. It appears to be a local evening spot, so in the evenings, the bar and restaurant are much busier. Live music at dinner as...

From the moment you walk in, the friendly smiles that greet you, assure you of a great accommodation choice. Check in was quick (after they allowed us to view the different room types), wifi codes were shared and in no time we were settled into our rooms. The room was comfortable, and for Maun, I thought it was great! Pool...

This is a great place to use as your gateway to the Okavango Delta. The complex is large with many different types of rooms/cabins. The workers are friendly and very accommodating. The food is awesome.

We stayed 2 nights in Maun logde during our trip in Botswana. The first night (September 24th 2016), we stayed in one of the chalets. These room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was comfortable. We took the dinner buffet, what was very good and tasteful. The chef was very helpful and nice. The staff was friendly and...

We stayed at Maun Lodge for 3 nights (checked in Aug 23rd and checked out Aug 26th 2016). Food was good, our room was clean but because Maun is quite a dusty place it did smell of dust. Our room was comfortable. During the early hours on Friday 26th Aug we had someone open our room door between 03:15 and...
