This place absolutely lives up to it's reviews. The most stand out thing about this place is the hospitality. Moana and Hola, Anau and Ryan will make you feel at home and treat you as friends. Their children are also awesome to chat to and be around. The beach is beautiful, everything that you'd want in a tropical holiday- great...

We love staying at Ha'atafu. This was our second time there and it was much the same as the first- amazing! This time we had our 14 month old daughter with us. We felt safe and secure taking her there as we knew that the owners Moana, Anau and their families would make her feel as welcome as we both...

At the risk of sounding lazy, probably as a result of such a wonderful relaxing holiday, all I can really say is that all the 5 star reviews written by other lucky people that have stayed here are absolutely spot on. If you like your luxuries, don't like getting sand between your toes and expect to be waited on hand...

We just had an 8 night stay at this little piece of paradise, Moana and Anau treated us like family and looked after our every need. They made us feel at home straight away, the food was absolutely amazing, always looked forward to breakfast and dinner.. the Chefs are well trained. The resort is clean, with beautiful tropical gardens surrounding...

We tried to get a Fale with ensuite, but were out of luck as they were sold out. Ours was a bed with shared toilet facilities. Worked out fine in the end. The toilets were kept very clean with easy access. The resort is small and very family orientated. The owners make you feel like you're their guests as opposed...

I stayed here for a blissful 10days. It was exactly what I wanted- R&R; secluded, white sandy beach fringed by palms, crystal seas, blue skies. Watching whales from the beach! With the ever present crashing waves on the reef- lulling you to sleep at night. The set up is idyllic - a dozen fales in the most lush tropical gardens....

My husband and I recently stayed at this beautiful family run resort for 2 weeks.. We loved everything about Ha'atafu including breakfast (French toast was sooo good) and the buffet dinner each night was 5 star and their lovely tradition of grace each night then allowing the woman and children to go first,,, that made it so special. We were...

Couldn't really be any better for a family mid winter getaway. Relaxed and intimate family atmosphere with white sand beach and whales cruising up and down the coast every day. Kids roam free all day while parents chill :-)

We have just returned from the most perfect week in Tonga , at this fabulous holiday spot...i agree with Halcyontwo about being reluctant to create more awareness of this wonderful place, the relaxing but totally comfortable atmosphere... picture perfect beach, great snorkelling in the lagoon, kayaking, wonderful food, and perhaps the best part of all - the people! Kindness and...
