This hotel is ideally situeted in Cafayate. It is around the corner of the main square with lots of restaurants and terraces. The breakfast is quit simple. The rooms are very nicely furnished and very clean. The staff is friendly , but do not speak much English. The hotel has a very nice garden, where you can relax. They have their own pakingspace.

I was visiting argentina with my family and stoped here in Cafayate. After a full day in a car, and going places like La Gargante del Diablo, I was hoping for a warm shower before bed, as we were leaving early in the morning. After 10 minutes waiting for hot water, I realise there's none coming. The warning on the door warns peoplr to take showers during the day, as they use solar tank heaters. Well, during the day I was visiting the country. Not in a hotel room. Double the money I payed compared to the other hotels, half the perks.

It's an ok, small basix hotel room, with a nice little open verandah from one's room, but it is all rather basic. Nice little garden to sit out if you like and is also a short walk to the square where there is shops and restaurants and craft market. WiFi was extremely slow. Breakfast was basic too.

The location is the best thing about this hotel otherwise it is average and lacking ambience. You are unable to pay with a credit card, the price was OK but I wish we had not booked in advance so we could not change. We had to request a room with air con as the staff put us in a non-air con room until we complained.

We stayed here 2 nights finding the decor with many cactus wood artefacts and heavy wooden slab furniture to be quaint. The room was clean, shower hot and wifi fast. Parking for the hire car and a normal Argentine buffet breakfast were fine, The Toneles (barrels) integrated into the building were an interesting feature. AR$1630/US$106 was a very reasonable price to pay for the 2 nights. Staff were friendly and courteous.
