My friends and I sent 2 nights at the Enselweni Bush Camp android 1 night in a Safari Tent at Mpila Camp. Every time I visit South Africa I visit and am never dissapointed. Great sightings of elephant, rhino and buffalo. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Stayed in a chalet in Mpila and loved the experience. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. I did not interact much with other staff. Loved the bush and got a true feeling of Africa! The visiting hyena at night made it all real. Will definitely be back.

We stayed for two nights at the beautiful Masinda lodge, which is a part of the Mpila camp. This lodge is situated about 12km from the main camp, it overlooks the bush, it is unfenced, but we took our little kids (10 months and 3 yrs old) with us and it was completely fine. The lodge itself is very nice,...

If you are looking for luxury this isn't the place for you, but if you want to be in the heart of the reserve among the wildlife then its perfect. Stayed 3 nights in October after not visiting Umfolozi for 17 years! The huts are now self catering and en suite with a lovely verandah each. The vervet monkies are...

Hluhluwe Imfolozi is a great park with lots of animals. However, this review is about Mpila camp. Staying in the safari tent is a cool experience. It's quite well equipped and clean. Kitchen is next to the tent. Don't be surprised by monkeys and the occasional hyena bringing you a visit. That's part of the adventure. Be sure to take...

Everything you need for a base camp to explore the park. Cabin was cleaed each day (including dishes), was comfortable and quite area. Some fun with the monkeys and hyenas hoping for a miscue so they can steal your braii or dash into cabin to snatch something tasty. Just keep your door latched as instructed and enjoy a little bit...

Love this place!!! In the bush, watch out for the hyenas at night browsing around your safari tent. Very dry at the moment but it had some rain while we were there. Most enjoyable if you love the bush and outdoor experience!

We stayed at Mpila Camp in a 2bed self catering chalet. Facilities are basic but all you need really. All round a lovely stay. A few helpful tips : Bring a portable light or bright flash light if you plan on braai`ing after dark. The braai is situated too far from the unit to see using the outdoor lights. Also...

We stayed in a 3-bedroomed cottage at Mpila and while it was basically nice and well furnished I did feel that it could do with a really good clean and maybe a coat of paint - especially in the shower!
