Very nice stay! Prices are very good, arrived at 10:30pm and hadn't called ahead but was lucky enough the owner had arrived and could let me in. Rooms are nice and spacious, good kitchen and help to get around. Was able to get a free ride organised for me to Keetmanshoop so was well worth the stay. Only a few...

We stayed here for 2 nights with our 3 boys, ages 12, 9 and 9. The family room is large, bright, clean and has a large ensuite. The kitchen area is OK but is missing a few key items like a decent knife and a toaster. The location is perfect. This is a very basic place but the value is...

We needed a hostel spontaniously on that day and found some nice place here in this hostel. We got a separated room in the clean hostel. The hostel is close to the city center and to the harbour so you can explore everything by feed. Definitely a nice place to stay and not expensive. And the owner speeks German, even...

After we struck a sandstorm in the desert, my family could not believe that anyone would willingly want to live in Luderitz, but after 2 x nights in this family friendly establishment we would very much like to return. Clean and comfortable and reminds of youth hostel in Europe Excellent value and central location. Safe and friendly.

Great for what we needed, good clean but basic facilities with helpful staff. A highlight were the people staying here, everyone being friendly clean and respectful. Close to the ocean and the city centre. 2 boats out the back which have been converted into rooms were a very fun addition.

I arrived on a Friday afternoon a little before 6 pm. Marie drove me to different supermarkets and take-aways to buy dinner for that night. Believe me, it is hard to find a shop open after 6 pm during the week. I had originally planned to stay at another budget accommodation but it was fully booked. Luderitz Backpackers was also...

We arrived in Luderitz after dark unsure of where we were going to stay. We stumbled across Luderitz Backpackers. The owner, Hannes, was very warm & inviting. The room was cheap, clean & comfortable. The backpackers is peaceful & within walking distance of the town. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lüderitz Backpackers is great to stay a night or two in town. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We had a whole apartment and we can say that we were very happy. Though the house could need a "repaint" to make one feel more like being home. I'd recommend it to anyone else.

I stayed here twice. The hostel has all you need in Lüderitz. The beds are not the newest but for one or two nights thats alright especially after camping a few weeks. Its a nice calm place and the staff is helpful. Its in a good location and you can walk to a lot of places in town.

“Family room in front has gorgeous view, en suite.”

“We were shown two double rooms, one off the main corridor, and one off the kitchen. If the hostel had been busier, we might not have chosen the kitchen-adjoining room as it could have been noisier, however I really liked the bright and airy feel of this room, and the big mural on the wall was lovely.”
