I booked the room by the hotel website. It took 2 days to get the reply. There are several bungalows and we got one of them. The room in the bungalow was quite big with separated bathroom and toilet, no bath tub. The hotel is not far from Andasibe national park. It only took 5 mins by car, around 30...

We visited as part of a honeymoon trip in November 2016, the tour being run by Za Tours and booked through Natural World Safaris. This hotel provided an ideal spot from which to explore Andasibe and Mantadia National Parks, being in close proximity to Andasibe and not too far from Mantadia. The lodges were spacious, clean and well equipped with...

The water is yellow green in the "luxury" room but that doesn't seem concern reception staff when you complain. "No immediate solution so live with it or ship out". Got it! Personnel has no empathy. Lousy Service.

Stayed in a bungalow which was spacious and very clean. The drinks in the room fridge are expensive though. The views from the rooms are great, and the hotel is conveniently located to explore the national parks,

Our group of 10 stayed here two nights here while visiting Andasibe-Mantadia and Analamazaotra Special Reserves. Our rooms were located in the new addition, a modern block without much character that is located at the end of the hotel. The view from the room my spouse and I were given (#003), was partially blocked by the large stairwell leading to...

We arrived at 14:30 and asked if we could eat from the snack menu as we had not eaten since breakfast. There was no food available and no electricity. There was a general power cut in the area but also the hotel did not seem to have a generator of its own. We were given a very inferior room and...

I recently spent two nights at Andasibe Hotel, based upon recommendations from colleagues. Though in a beautiful location, and well situated for visits to the Mantadia National Park just up the road, the accommodations themselves were less than stellar. Perhaps the older chalets are more comfortable, but I was in a charmless new addition. There were no screens on the...

Unless you have no choice, or you enjoy paying 4 star prices for 1.5 star accommodations, then certainly, stay here. When we arrived the car was swarmed by 5 gentlemen, none of whom appeared to have any uniform or name tag indicating they worked there. They were all trying to carry three bags (one overnight suitcase and two small hand...

I booked five nights stay in September with my partner. We were excited after reading reviews online and in the lonely planet. We were particularly excited about the split level bungalow we thought we had reserved. On arrival we were both unfortunately unwell so we were keen to get to the room and relax. Unfortunately we were given a room...

During our two night stay here our group visited different areas of the National Parks. We checked in during the afternoon and found that our room was in a modern- looking block towards the end of the hotel grounds. It was comfortable and quiet with mosquito nets on the beds. The plumbing caused problems, the water pressure was low making...
