Holiday of a lifetime.??!!.... from UK to check out If Ns is the right place to move to. Location is good. You can get to lots of places within half hour or hour. Actual setting was a bit scruffy due to on going works nearby. Neighbours a bit closer than expected. Couldn't use lake first week as frozen second week...

After spending thousands on our destination wedding in Nova Scotia, we had very little left for our Honeymoon. We rented "Cottage on the Cove" for two nights after our wedding. The scenery is beautiful, the cottage itself is very nice - simple but clean and very well kept. I enjoyed the back deck as my husband did some fishing. It...

We stayed here last July for Mud Hero ...That is by far the biggest Pro, ideal location as it is very close to the site of Mud Hero! We stayed in the Scottage Cabin which is a 2 " bedroom" and they say it easily sleeps 6...One bedroom was lovely but small...the other bedroom was bigger but had no "bed"...only...

We made the mistake of booking first, then reading the reviews many of which were negative particularly in reference to cleanliness. The two bedroom cabin, however, was clean and tidy when my husband and I arrived. The promised canoe was nowhere in sight but one was found after our first night. We still feel that the price was far too...

We had an amazing time there at the cottage. Really quiet, everything was included, we just needed our food. We might actually go back next year. The price is not cheap but it all worth it, specially if you can share.

My friends and I have stayed with Cottage Country once yearly for the last 4 years. We are a group from all over NS and we get together once a year for a "girls weekend". Usually, we rent a different cottage though Cottage Country (and have NONE of these issues), but this year, that cottage was not available to us,...

Wow, for a place in the hospitality industry the person answering the phone was far from hospitable. We called just to attempt making a reservation and the person on the phones was the rudest I've ever spoken with. I asked for availability for new years and he said there was a two night minimum, which is different than what is...

Overpriced & dirty. The water smelled & i doubt it was drinkable (wish we had known that as we would have brought our own). The shower curtain was disgusting as was the tub and shower. The curtain was full of mold from pink to black. We complained when we checked out and no offer was made to even offer a...

We stayed there one night across the road from the lake. We had a deck, BBQ, fire pit, jacuzzi tub and access to a canoe. It was a nice spot! The cottage needed a good cleaning though, our dog had a feast under the bed before we realized how dirty it was under there. The bedrooms smelled musty and we...

It cost a friend and I almost 400$ for one night, but it seemed pretty nice upon our arrival. We had a hot tub, trampoline, mini beachfront, we pretty much stayed outside the entire time enjoying the nice day/evening. In the morning we cleaned up, locked the hot tub/canoe, literally did everything from putting dishes in the dishwasher, new chlorine...
