Found this hotel on wowcher and after checking dog friendly decided to book. It's a shame as the hotel could have a lot going for it BUT room needed some TLC, frustratingly the shower would not produce hot water continually and ended up washing my hair in cold water. Strangely hot water came out of COLD tap on the sink...

Great hotel good location for walking to Table Mountain. Spa needs a bit of updating but perfectly fine pool and sauna. Plenty of room in our room number 7. Very friendly staff. Food is 5 star. Definitely will return.

Visited today on a Groupon voucher for a 2 course meal and use of leisure facilities. I bought it as a gift for my mother for mother's day and it was absolutely perfect. The staff were very friendly and although we had booked a table for 12:30, we were told to take our time in the leisure facilities as they...

Visited The Manor Crickhowell to celebrate our 48th Wedding Anniversary with lunch. When I rang to book the meal I was initially told that they were fully booked, but when I mentioned that it was our wedding anniversary I was told that they would fit us in somehow. When we arrived, although 40 minutes early, we were taken directly to...

Visited on Sunday, had an hour in the spa with the pool Jacuzzi etc. Could do with a revamp but enjoyable, staff polite and couldn't do enough. Followed by three course Sunday lunch which was fabulous. The staff where polite and extremely friendly and nothing was to much trouble, will be returning shortly.

The Manor Hotel is a great place to stay. The hotel itself is lovely, it's the family home of George Everest who the mountain was named after, and it sits on the side of Table Mountain. The leisure facilities are great, we used the jacuzzi and steam room after a 4.5 mile hike up Table Mountain and back (a 'moderate'...

“The room was fantastic and the view was amazing. If I had to pick one thing (and I do with a heavy heart) is that with the shower being in the bath, maybe have a shower mat as slipping whilst washing was very possible.”
