Had a wonderful one night stay here. Very friendly and welcoming cup of tea on arrival. The room (Sugarloaf) was warm with great views and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was super with plenty of fresh fruit and juices and cooked breakfast with local produce.

Thank you for taking time to write a review and thank you very much for your kind comments. We're glad you felt welcome and at home, We love to meet new people and welcome them to our home. The bed is from our local very good bed shop - plug! and we are happy to buy fresh food in our lovely town of independent shops. We're so pleased you enjoyed your breakfast and your stay.

We visited a few weekends ago for our 10th wedding anniversary and we will be booking again. Alison and Julian made sure everything was perfect and were really lovely hosts. They really have thought of everything including board games for a rainy evening!

It's always difficult to visit somewhere with such excellent reviews - your expectations are high. However Glan y Dwr fulfilled all our expectations. Alison gave us such a lovely warm and generous welcome into her spotlessly clean home. She had communicated with us so well up

Wow, thank you very much for your kind comments. It's a delight to us if guests enjoy being in our home in this beautiful part of Wales. We enjoy helping people to find good places to visit and make the most of their holiday, even if the weather isn't always fine! We are so fortunate to have local suppliers of good food so I'm pleased you enjoyed the breakfasts. (Haddock back on the menu next time!) Thank you for being excellent guests and your kind feedback of your stay.

Visited last weekend with a couple of friends for a walking weekend. One of the best b&b experiences I’ve had. Wonderful breakfast, comfortable rooms and very friendly and accommodating hosts. Look forward to visiting again.

Hi, do you have a twin or double on 14/15 September please?
Hi Sorry, this has only just got through to me. We are completely booked that weekend, apart from the twin on Friday night only. The Food Festival and Crick walking festival are on the same weekend.

I replied from my iPhone but I don't know if it reached you. We only take bookings of 2 nights min at weekends. That is a busy weekend here for Hay Lit Fest and other events. I hope you find a room. Alison
