Ok, we're cheapskates, we did a Groupon. However you'd never have known, treated like royalty throughout, good room, described as standard, but far from it. A real gem of a place situated high over the banks of the river. Did 2 nights B&B plus 7 course tasting menu on the first night, meal in the bistro/bar (not Groupon) second night....

What an amazing welcome back to this wonderful hotel. Only my second visit and welcomed as if part of the family. In fact, I only booked for one night and their tasting menu but immediately on arrival I asked if another night was possible as I knew I wouldn't want to leave in the morning. As before, lots of attention...

We celebrated our 50th anniversary here, and invited 8 guests to join us and stay over. Having booked the rooms we were delighted that everyone had a great room, and that we all received excellent service from attentive staff. Luke, the manager was on hand at all times for us, and nothing was too much trouble. We all enjoyed our...

We had a overnight package which included a 7 course taster dinner on the /Saturday. Dinner was very nicely presented, the staff were attentive but not pushy, the food on Saturday and Welsh breakfast on Sunday was lovely. A very nice old fashioned building in an estate setting. Wood panelling etc. The bedroom was warm and comfortable. All in all...

What a great place and what a great surprise. The Manor was the property of Lord Swansea in days gone by and , despite its Tudor looks, it was actually built in 1896. On arrival, May wife and I were welcomed by a very pleasant young lady on reception who then gave us a short tour of the public areas...

2 days with 7 course menu, B&B and one tear room upgrade. Beautiful setting in river and trees. Wooden panels, creaky floor, unsemetrical bedrooms, 4 posters, quaint old world. Food excellent - evening and breakfast. Small well stocked bar. No gym but you can walk for exercise. Relaxing, WiFi intermittent. Staff very friendly. Was wet so not much to do...
