Accommodated 6 of us for lunch after 2pm on Saturday. Fair choice of traditional pub type meals which were delivered promptly and all tasted good. Decor is a little tired, but fitting for a traditional village pub.

Stayed here overnight. Lovely welcome by both staff and customers. This place also accepted my 2 dogs for small fee, which we were grateful for, as other greedy hotels in the area wanted double the price for the dogs. A lovely atmosphere and a lovely breakfast. Thank you so much.

Excellent Sunday lunch, plenty of meat, veg and gravy. Served quickly and efficiently all on warm plates. Lovely deserts too. We will definitely be going back. Charming pub that is a lot bigger than you think when you first walk in, one side is a traditional pub on the other a restaurant with nicely laid tables. The staff were very...

Just stopped for a bite to eat on our long journey back to Somerset. Very impressed with the cleanliness of this pub. All our food was homemade and fresh...and there was plenty of it. We received a warm and friendly welcome. Would recommend!

A friend and I were attending a film about the Battle of the Somme in the cinema at Builth so decided to eat here first,. We had a delicious sunday lunch here when we learned that was a Thai menu also. We went for the Thai option. It took a while to arrive as the lady was on her own...

Hi, thank you for your kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed it. It took me a while to get the Thai menu ready as its been such a busy year following our purchase of the Llanelwedd Arms. I enjoy cooking Thai food and its great when we get satisfied customers! I hope you will come back and see us again...

A colleague and I were in Builth Wells for business and finished in time to have a spot of lunch before returning home. There are not that many places to eat, so it appeared! Anyway we found this and it looked rather quiet outside but was very pleasant, albeit quiet inside too! The real ale was good and the ham...

Myself and my partner stopped here today for a Sunday lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. The beef dinner was lovely, plenty of hot vegetables and tender beef for two of us, and really friendly waiting staff. No complaints from us and would definitely call here again if we were passing.

Don't let appearances put you off, we stopped here on our way home from Anglesey and we had stopped at a few pubs before getting to Builth Wells and then spotted the Little Chef and Burger King and pulled in while parking we spotted the Llanelwedd Arms and a sign saying home cooked food. So we decided to drive over...
