We stayed for just one night whilst visiting a local company. Great welcome, complete with coffee and lemon drizzle in the billiard room. We asked to swap to a room with a bath, and this happened without any problem. Really friendly, knowledgeable hosts with lovely kids. The property is lovely, and we had a good size room and everything we...

We stayed a night on our way to a family wedding further north. We absolutely loved the countryside and the accommodation was second to none. Roger and Katie were extremely welcoming, the bedroom was extremely comfortable and sleeping in Egyptian Cotton sheets was sublime. The home cooked breakfast was more than we needed. Roger made a delicious lemon drizzle cake...

Ardwyn House was amazing - we have a great one night stay - but I wish it was more. A lovely bedroom and an very large bathroom, very nicely decorated. The House has so many features, we had a bottle of wine from the bar, we play chess in the Libary and had a wonderful night sleep. Breakfast was fantastic...

This place is a real gem! Beautifully decorated and furnished, reasonably priced and spotlessly clean. Katie and Roger are perfect hosts, kind, attentive and nothing is too much trouble. (Their children are delightful too!). We arrived late in the evening to be greeted with hot drinks and homemade cake! The breakfast menu is extensive and the locally produced food deliciously...

My son (7) nailed it when he said, "It's a pity Daddy couldn't get time off work to stay with us in this 9,000 star hotel." Stayed here for a night to meet up with friends and walk in the local area. Ardwyn is outstanding in so many respects - from the hosts, to the beautifully appointed rooms and the...

This was our first visit, but certainly won't be our last, with easy parking, we were very impressed as soon as we walked through the front door, on arriving we had a very friendly welcome from Katie who made us feel right at home, after a short tour we were shown to our room....room 1, and we were very pleased,...

Wow. Roger and Katie's attention to detail is above and beyond what you would expect. Their establishment is beautiful and spotless. Their welcoming smiles on arrival and fantastic breakfasts on leaving are above and beyond... Stay here. Every other place pales. Thanks.

Katie & Roger are extremely welcoming and hospitable hosts. Despite booking rather last minute the room was massive and the service brilliant. Can't wait to go back and stay for longer. Food good. Service excellent hosts brilliant

Beautiful location and views, room was spacious and well decorated with extremely comfy bed and great shower. Owners are friendly and so welcoming, we felt like part of their family and the breakfast was probably one of the best we've had! The afternoon tea and cake was also a lovely extra, - especially as it was taken outside in the...
