Four of us stayed for 3 nights at Plain Dealings. So the Good: 1. The rooms were spacious 2. The beds comfortable 3. With plenty of hot water the en suite bathrooms were great. 4. Jackie the host was very pleasant and chatty. Now the not so good - and I've tried to be kind and constructive here: 1. Breakfast...

4 day (3 night) stay as a b'day treat from my lovely Mom. The owner our host Jackie (and her husband behind the scenes) have created a home away from home. An adult only guest house creates a quite stay. Our room (similar to others we saw) was well equipped. We had a twin bedded room with en-suite and a...

We were after somewhere quiet to recharge the batteries and this place certainly filled our wishes! Beautiful sun soaked terrace view over Lower Fishguard, could barely hear the traffic and only a few minutes stroll back into Upper Fishguard. We had one of the apartments which was lovely and clean, very comfortable, good standard of fittings and perfect for us...

After 10 years we revisited Jackie at a wonderful if a little tricky to find B&B. great views, wonderful breakfast and dinner available, superb food and great location to catch Fishguard ferry to Ireland. Exceptionally large rooms and welcoming host! Great place.

I lied. It wasn't 2013. My wife and I stayed at PD in the 80's and while we haven't made it back in all those years we have such fond romantic memories. And remembrances of a little dog named Monday. Spectacular views and a nice walk into town. And the proprietors were very understanding of all the Americans questions. I...

A little off the beaten track - a phone call was required for final directions - but a really comfortable b&b. Ignore the 70's interior and check out the view over Lower Fishguard - outstanding. A lovely welcome for the proprietor and a room that was virtually a suite. Sofa, chairs good quality TV and a good en suite. Recommended

I believe we stayed here at the same time as the reviewer below. We had taken up two double rooms, and both rooms had excellent views of Fishguard estuary and the sea. The front garden is really a lovely peaceful place to sit and enjoy the views. The location is convenient for accessing both the coastal path and the (little)...

After reading the rave reviews on this site and seeing the wonderful menus, we booked for dinner, bed & breakfast at Plaindealings. That was a mistake! The breakfasts were fine but the evening meals were terribly disappointing and completely ruined our enjoyment of a 3 day break in this guest house in such a wonderful spot and with very spacious...

We stayed 2 nights as part of our coast path walk. Had no expectations before we went but as it turned out, I was very happy that we stayed there. Location : Loved it; a short walk from town but worth the minor effort for the quiet and view (ask for a table next to the picture window in the...

A warm welcome awaits you at Plaindealings, Jackie is lovely, very friendly and welcoming. Tea and biscuits on the terrace overlooking the superb view of the harbour was a lovely start to our short stay.. The location is wonderful, at the end of a lane in a secluded location. Very quiet and tranquil where the only sounds you hear are...
