Stayed here for ten nights and enjoyed a very comfortable stay. My traveling companion has mobility difficulties and so we had requested ground floor accommodation for him. This was provided in the annexe and was ideal - a recently refurbished room with a lovely new bathroom. My room was in the main house; spacious, spotlessly clean with a superb TV,(...

My mother and I stayed here whilst on a Rabbies Highland Tour and had a very pleasant stay. We would happily stay there again if we were lucky enough to return to Ullapool. Room: Twin room for two nights, upstairs, comfortable with a renovated bathroom from memory. Location: lovely location overlooking the water, not for from supermarket Tesco and a...

We arrived in Ullapool later than expected and just started looking for a place with a vacancy sign. Lucky for us, there was one room left at the Old Surgery. Our ring at the door was greeted by a very friendly and cheerful Manfred. We got a large room overlooking the water, which was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was...

Arrival Whilst my husband was getting the bags I went to check in. I knocked at the door and a man answered the door, not really a warm welcoming but after I explained I had rang ahead and booked a room with a female he confirmed that I had a room and showed me to the room. He showed me...

Stayed one night in July. Brilliant location with fantastic view. Easy walking distance into village. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Free WiFi. Generous breakfast no need to ask for more beverages etc. Staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Kind and gracious host. Clean room and relatively new bathroom. Size was okay but a bit small. Husband hated the mattress but I thought it was serviceable. However, our room had carpet that looked at least thirty years old--red low shag. Ugh. Very low water pressure in shower and the sink barely worked. The toilet did not flush until my...

clean, spacious, comfortable but bit tired accommodation. great location breakfast was ok but fish (smoked haddock) was overcooked our room overlooked Tesco's car park at the back - given we'd booked six months in advance i'd have liked a loch view (didn't complain though) certainly perfectly ok but i suspect better in Ullapool

My husband and I stayed here on the 1st and 2nd of July with our small dog. From first contact the owner Manfred was great and very informative. When we arrived we were delighted at how clean the guesthouse was and how hospitable the staff / owners were. The view from the from the guest house was beautiful and the...

First time staying here, we loved it! The room was delightful, very clean and quiet. We were made most welcome by Manfred. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. This place is a wee gem and we would have no hesitation recommending it to family and friends. We will certainly be back.

We came across this b&b by chance and it was a lucky find. Although dated it was spotless, has a great view of the loch and the breakfast was delightful. Close to restaurants and pubs. We would definitely recommend it.
