We turned up to Ullapool late on a Thursday during school holidays and were recommended this place. What a lovely place to stay! We were greeted and welcomed like old friends and the rooms were brilliant, spotless, light airy and had beautiful views! The beds were extremely comfortable! After a beautiful walk nearby the breakfast the next morning was fantastic...

We stayed at the Old Surgery as part of our northwestern Scotland tour in Room 2. Great room, with a beautiful view over Loch Broom. The room is well equipped with everything you need, including Wifi. Breakfast is very enjoyable, but a little background music will break the awkward silence. I would prefer a more firmer bed. Thank you for...

This bed and breakfast has an excellent location by the loch, looking at the mountains. My room was spacious, modern and comfortable. Best nights sleep! The breakfast was good, including vegetarian options and the service was fast. Walking distance from the main part of town.

We booked two rooms as part of our 12 day tour. We were only there one night and I wished it was longer. The rooms were well appointed and spacious with very comfortable beds. Our room had a bathtub which was much appreciated! The location is very good-just around the corner from main area of ferry, food and shopping area....

I received a warm welcome from the proprietor when I arrived mid-tour with Rabbies. I had a double room (one double bed and one single) in a large room with plenty of space, and an enormous and beautifully appointed bathroom! (It looked like it had been recently redecorated). The room was comfy and light, but quiet (situated towards the back...

The house is pretty and it feels like you are visiting an old aunt with family photos hanging on the walls in the common areas. The hosts were however not very enthusiastic nor informative, but we managed on our own. Our room had a new and nice bathroom which we appreciated.

My wife and I stayed here while on a Rabbies tour. This was the first time that we stayed at a B&B. (We subsequently stayed at two other B&B's during our visit in Scotland.) We stayed for two nights in the "annex" just next to the house. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Toilet/shower were part of the...

The old surgery is the nicest B&B you'll find in Ullapool. A very short walk to the ferry terminal to go to the outer he brides and also to the nice shopping street with gift shops and café 's and restaurants. And a 5 minutes walk to the superstore. The old surgery guesthouse is a very luxury home with a...

Stayed just one night in family room and though it faced the rear with view of tescos car park was really pleased . Room was large with lots of space to move around the large double and bunk beds. Probably largest family room we have had. Situated right on the loch side with easy access to the shore and 30...

We, plus our dog, stayed in a small annex joined at the side of the main house. It was delightful, bright, fresh, modern, with a first rate bathroom. The family running the B&B were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The house was charming and had an enviable position facing the loch. I would highly recommend it as extremely good...
