We returned to the Morefield for 2 family dinners during our holidays, and were not disappointed. The Morefield never fails to present you with the most delicious dishes whether you want seafood or other choices. There were 7 of us including 3 kids, all ordering different dishes. We were served promptly with the utmost professionalism. Can't recommend highly enough. The...

The motel was very comfy and snug, the owners were very helpful and very generous. The food, especially the road was great, a heaped plate of goodness, all in in, great wee place, and the surroundings are beautiful

Good points, near ferry to Stornoway, warm and clean, free parking, free WiFi, food available, nice views. Bad points, 70'sstyle accommodation, sink not in bathroom, small TV, small room, pine cladding, very old bed and furnishings, kettle was so badly stained inside it was unusable. Finally it we overpriced. This is rated the 2nd best hotel in Ullapool, what are...

I had enquired by email before boking explaining that my mother did not walk and transferred to and from wheel chair by standing and turning round. The room had wheelchair access up a slope and handy for the car. Single beds down one side of the room so my mother could transfer from her preferred side. However she could not...

Many people who visit Ullapool stay close to the harbour and the sea front, this hotel is situated a few streets back but still within walking distance. We received a friendly welcome and were well treated by the owners during our stay. Our room was quiet, warm and comfortable although it was not he most modern. The restaurant was excellent...

We enjoyed a really good lunch here. The menu is very varied and they have spent a lot of time working out all the various allergies in each meal. The staff were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble.

A cracking wee Motel a few minutes from the centre of Ullapool. From the moment I checked in I was made to feel more than welcome, and the twin room I had was fantastic and very, very comfortable. No noise, no traffic, just peace and quiet. The owner was very accommodating regards breakfast - a proper cup of coffee in...

Stayed here for 1 night before taking the ferry to Lewis. The rooms were very basic, the beds passable. The breakfast which was included made up for the rooms. It was hearty and delicious and our server was friendly and hard-working. There aren't many choices in the area for overnight accommodation and I wouldn't recommend this stop for a holiday,...

We have used the Motel before for short breaks but came up for the Ullapool Beer Festival held here every year. The accommodation is basic but comfortable, ideal for 'getting your head down, perfect if you are out venturing taking in this amazing part of the country. Tony and Bev are the perfect hosts. Russell, front of house, was first...
