The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was exactly as I expected , cosy and clean. I didn't eat in the hotel but did have a few beers before going out and the Cocktail bar was comfortable and friendly. I would use this place again-great value for money.

One night stay and the staff were lovely.. we arrived late and they were most welcoming. Bedroom was definitely something from the 70s but it was cosy (if not a bit too warm). Took breakfast to keep us going throughout the day - service was a bit erratic but foid was fine. Considering the cost for the night (£70).. there...

I returned again to the Imperial Hotel, because, for the actual price that is charged, if you book independently, that is! The hotel gives you value for your money. The Hotel is an old coach house, the decor probably needs updating, but the place is spotlessly clean. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I will be returning again later in...

Arriving at the hotel we were told quite curtly "You've got to pay me now!" We expected this as Booking.com advised pay on arrival. Also informed quite sharply that "This doesn't include breakfast!" That suited us as hotel reeked of stale frying. Despite radiator being hot, room was very cold. Window didn't close properly - no window catch, frame was...

Very pink bathroom suite and tiles, with green stained carpet, dubious siliconing, very old fashioned. Bed was fine. I asked what time the doors would close as I was having a big meal at another venue in town and told them this. They told me 12.30, but they would probably be open later as it was a Saturday. I arrived...

Can't complain about anything to tell you the truth, enjoyed my stay and...

You have got to remember this place is vety old and looks it. It needs a lot of work but saying that it oozes character. I really liked it the staff were great internet reception great breakfast basic but good.

What a fantastic experience, you can imagine coaches and horses clopping into the central courtyard to empty their passengers. This place is OLD!! even the floors are uneven and a little suspect but you will not find cleaner accommodation anywhere and that includes all 3 old bars. Happy cheerful staff and warm welcoming hosts. Oh yeah great food as well....

We had three lovely days here. Yes the hotel is very dated but their prices aren't over the top. Beds are spotlessly clean as are the towels. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious and very hot. The dinners were great also very hot and plentiful. The staff are extremely friendly of course Irish people usually are. Nothing was a problem. When...
