Hotel ideally located for exploring the area. Room comfortable, good quality breakfast cooked to order. Bar seems popular with locals which gives it a good atmosphere. Food in hotel restaurant good. Didn't try any local restaurants.

My partner and I are hill walkers We are often frustrated that hotels don't start breakfast until after 8 on the weekend. Blackhorse offers breakfast from 7:15. it was fantastic food and enough to keep us going all day.
