Our stay here was delightful. The room was fine, the breakfast great, but the hosts, Robin and Sue make all the difference. Robin's great humor was much fun, and his help greatly appreciated - steering us to a restaurant we really liked. This is a family operation that makes one feel warm and welcome. Highly recommended.

We booked a double room and were upgraded to the family suite. It was wonderful - well appointed, spacious, very grand, full of antique furniture. Our host was friendly, very knowledgeable about the local area and made us feel very welcome. His stories and anecdotes were hilarious. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. We would definitely recommend this delightful...

We stayed here while touring Scotland and it was certainly the nicest and best run B&B we stayed in. The hosts are true professionals and the place is spotless. The breakfast is wonderful and the town itself is lovely and well worth a visit. I highly recommend staying here.

We can only endorse previous reviewers' comments: a most welcoming B&B in a beautiful building, in the most picturesque of the Border towns; interesting shops, good restaurants (and real ales ) within easy walking distance. Spacious and elegant accommodation and a 5-star breakfast; in summary, the perfect spot to enjoy your holiday.

The rooms are maintained to a standard that you would expect from a high quality hotel. Breakfasts are excellent, facilities top drawer and the hosts friendly and very helpful. Many thanks to Robin and Sue for providing us with a comfortable stay, lovely room, great shower and a warm welcome that stretched to chilling our fizz and providing the glasses. Nothing was too much trouble over the weekend. Looking forward to another trip to the races.

This was my husband's third visit to Robin and Sue's guest house whilst fishing on the Tweed. Faultless as usual, with professional and personable service from Robin. The bed is so comfortable that he looks forward to his short stays and he has already re-booked for 2017. We would not entertain staying anywhere else-this time my husband visited with his...

The Old Priory is like a boutique hotel but with the informality of a b&b. The rooms are very good - decorated in a classic style with plenty of wood. There is also a comfortable lounge for guests. Robin & Sue are great hosts - knowledgeable about the area, interesting and very welcoming and friendly. The breakfasts are very good...

Spent a week of Borders research with Sue & Robin in their wonderful Georgian home in very charming Kelso. There is no match for their genuine concern over their hospitality for my return to the Tower Room and their support of a wonderful visit in the area. Even the trades people of the town smile wistfully and say, "they have...
