Craiglinnhe House is a wonderful place to stay and a particularly good value. It's only difficulty is sometimes getting in and out of the driveway, which is on a main road (there is, however, no traffic noise when inside). Yet, parking is adequate and easy...More

There is one restaurant that was within walking distance, sort of. It took us about 30 minutes to get there in the path across the house. But mostly, of you are going to be staying in the area, you need a car. There is a cab that we called from the restaurant that we walked to, but I'm not sure if it's common to have cans ready for folks. Maybe it is during the summer. We were just lucky that one of attendants at the bar was kind enough to call the one cab driver, and see if he was up for driving that night.
