We can recommend the Craiglinnhe House with a clear conscience. We were greeted very friendly with tea and biscuits. Our room, it was the nr. 3, was big was big and bright. It has enough storage space and there was no problem to pack away our luggage for our three weeks trip through Scotland. The bed was good, we slept...

Everything about my stay at Craighlinnhe House was absolutely delightful. I felt at home from the moment I walked in the door and got such a warm welcome by hosts Lawrence and Katrina. My room was spotless and had lovely views across Loch Linnhe, which seemed to change every hour. The old Victorian house is lovely, with charming period details....

Thank you for taking the time to write such a kind and detailed review. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay in Room one. (Just to clarify for readers - Craiglinnhe House is situated by the A828 - the Oban road- which runs along the side of Loch Linnhe. Not a motorway in the conventional sense.)

A very warm and friendly welcome, very beautiful and cosy house with view on the loch, nice whisky to taste in the evening, we will be back for sure ! Try the Laroch pub & restaurant nearby for very good food.

We absolutely loved staying here; it was our last night in Scotland and we wish we'd stayed longer!! The house and views are unbelievably beautiful and the hosts are friendly and wonderful--Lawrence recommended a great walk along the loch and a delicious restaurant for dinner, while Katrina's breakfast was completely delicious. There's a cool self-catering bar set up in the...

Our family had a lovely time at Craiglinnhe House. It's beautifully situated with a breathtaking view of the loch, and mountains. A walking path directly across the road was nice for morning runs and evening walks to dinner. The breakfast was scrumptious with loads of hospitality. The house is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Our hosts were kind, welcoming, funny, full...

Such a warm welcome from the host when we arrived. Our twin room was extremely cozy and very nicely decorated. Since we had an early departure we couldn't have our proper breakfast but the host graciously made us a meal earlier so we could eat something before we hit the road. We had a wonderful stay and want to go...

There are many reasons why we can recommend this house. Here are some of them: great breakfast handed over through a replicator gate, best haggis we could find all over Scotland, lots of breadboard games and DVDs available, awesome honesty whiskey bar, super view, perfect service, which allows excellent holidays

Thank you for your lovely review, we are very pleased to hear you enjoyed the breakfast and services of the guest lounge. Just in case readers are confused. The replicator gate refers to our kitchen service hatch - we do enjoy a laugh with our guests (and who doesn't love a Star Trek reference?)

Our room had a great view, and was very comfortable and clean. Excellent breakfast got us through the day even when going up Ben Nevis on a rainy (snowy) day. The welcome by Lawrence was really (really) great. Just the attention we needed, to the point tips, services ranging from weather forecast to table reservation and cloths drying, and a...
