Our 3 night stay from the moment we arrived was faultless, the warm welcome from Rob & Morag was sincere. The rooms are all 5* from the size to the layout and furnishings not to mention the views. Breakfast unbelievable in choices and quality. If you are in the area you must stay here. I will be back. Brian & Friends

With 40 years experience of staying in B & Bs throughout Scotland and N. Ireland, this was by far and away the best. We were with our friends ( see Hey Jude review), and they have summarised perfectly. It was the ideal situation for exploring Glencoe and the Ben Nevis area, and the only thing we missed was a sighting of the elusive Red Squirrels that frequent their back garden! But having breakfast and watching the show of a variety of birds also enjoying their food almost made up for it. We’d love to go back

We’ve just returned from an amazing two night stay in the Ardno House Bed and Breakfast in Ballachulish and what can I say! Robert and Morag were the perfect hosts. The breakfast was wonderful, plenty to choose from between the menus offering a Full Scottish Breakfast or a Vegetarian option and the presentation was excellent. We had dinner cooked by Robert on the first night and again, it was absolutely delicious and the presentation was first class. Our room was on the ground floor and we had a spectacular view of the breathtaking gardens and over Loch Linnhe with the mountains beyond this. We could not want for anything in our room, including top quality toiletries and an extremely comfortable bed. We had tea and coffee facilities in our room which also included Robert’s heavenly homemade shortbread which was a lovely touch. If you’re looking for a totally relaxing break, this definitely is the place to stay. First class position, wonderful hosts who go above and beyond to welcome you, amazing food and hospitality - what more could one wish for.

We have just had three wonderful nights at Ardno House. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. Robert and Morag are the most welcoming warm friendly hosts. Ardno House is beautiful.. It has superb views over Loch Linnhe and the mountains.. While you are enjoying Roberts amazing breakfasts you can watch a Red squirrel enjoying the bird food, and woodpeckers, green finches, siskin etc.. Just a delight. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and immaculately clean. We enjoyed two nights evening meals at Ardno House. Five star in all respects!! We will be returning as soon as possible to enjoy this beautiful bed and breakfast and to see Robert and Morag again. We cannot recommend Ardno House enough.. Xxx

What a find, Ardno House was beyond expectations. We had originally booked earlier in the year, but because of covid we had to change our dates. This was done with no fuss by Robert and Morag. The property is in a fantastic position overlooking Loch Linnhe, the room also had tremendous views, and was well supplied with tea/coffee and Roberts home made biscuits. The tasty cooked breakfast was great and really set you up for the day, Roberts poached eggs were something special? We had also decided to eat in at night to save having to look for somewhere in these uncertain times. The evening meal was excellent with a good choice and a Scottish slant on the menu. We loved staying there, Robert and Morag make you welcome, which must be very difficult for them with covid restrictions in place. We will return in the very near future. Thanks for a really great stay.
