We booked the Ballachulish for a 3 night stay for my partners birthday in mid Feb 2017. After an 8 hour drive to reach the hotel, we were greeted by a friendly and warm welcome..........warm being the operative word as we soon retreated to the lounge and sat in front of the roaring fire!! Our bedroom was clean, tidy, spacious...

The hotel, albeit had fantastic views, was a bit rustic and could do with an upgrade. Some of the rooms are on their way to being upgraded but the room we were in, which was listed as one of the best, was just average. However, the property does have that Victorian charm. What does make up for the accommodation is...

Just stayed for the one night. We were in the annexe with a room overlooking the Loch. Room was spacious, clean and very cosy. Dinner was well priced and menu provided a couple of vegetarian options. After dinner it was lovely to sit by an open fire with a Glayva in hand. Buffet style breakfast was good and a nice...

Very busy during our stay but the pleasant and competent staff coped perfectly. High quality evening meals from the kitchen and one...

The setting is magnificent and the hotel and staff complement the view. The bedroom was traditional with old original furniture. It was spacious with views over the loch and mountains. The spacious bathroom had large fluffy towels and everything was spotless. The bar and lounges have glowing fires for relaxing from the stress of everyday life. The food is excellent...

Nice hotel, with good breakfast included. Staff were nice. Wifi was free however was broken when we were there. We stayed 1 night in between our drive from Skye and Glasgow, and was perfect! He had a lot of luggage and there was not lift.
