Booked two rooms for 3 nights and was delighted with the standard of both. Very well decorated and presented. Wendy & Steve could not be more accommodating and looked after us well. Breakfast choice excellent with loads of variety. Recommend this B&B to anyone who is looking for quality establishment at a great price and in beautiful location. Passed onto...

Just spent 4 amazing days at Rowan House. Steve and Wendy are the perfect hosts. The location is idyllic with superb walks right on the doorstep. Great place to relax, ramble, trek, stroll, whatever takes your fancy. Too many highlights but the beef stew has to be one and seeing the Golden Eagles every day. Will definitely return soon.

A gorgeous B&B. Beautiful, spacious room with views over the Loch. The room was spotlessly clean. Wendy was really welcoming and made us feel at home. The breakfasts were excellent and we had an evening meal on our first night which was delicious. I cannot fault this B&B. It is off the beaten track but well worth a stay!

Our upper floor room overlooked the lake and was small but very comfortable. Our own bathroom across the hall was immaculately clean, fresh towels on the 2nd day very welcome. We had the full Scottish breakfast on the first morning but made more modest choices on the other days! Fresh fruit salad and yogurt delicious. Great coffee. Wifi good. Thanks...

This very welcoming B & B is found after driving along winding, narrow, single-track roads with passing places but when you reach it you will say WOW at the magnificent views of mountains and Loch Goil which is, more or less, on the doorstep of Rowan House. Steven & Wendy are very friendly without being 'in your face'. My husband...

Clean and comfortable with everything you could ask for and extremely friendly and accommodating hosts who put themselves out to make sure we didn't spend a night in our car. The breakfast was beautiful and the room tastefully decorated. Well organised parking and we really felt relaxed and welcome. We had booked to stay somewhere else but that didn't work...

This is a fantastic little place! As mentioned by many others in the reviews Steve and Wendy are great hosts and really make you feel welcome from the moment of arrival. We arrived on a wet Friday night to find our room all lit and well heated for our arrival. Our room was well equipped and had everything we needed....

Stayed here back in November for fireworks. Village put on a fire work display which I highly recommend. Steve and Wendy were welcoming and the house nice. Very nice if you want to get away from the busy city life with quaint walks and beautiful scenery.
