Whilst the Compasses Inn was not the nearest to the Great Bustard site near Pewsey, it proved to be a great find and worth the extra drive time to the Great Bustard site.

What I particularly like about this pub is that they do "fine dining" as well as pub grub, so catering for all sorts. Very friendly staff and a great place to sit outside. I have the passionfruit creme brulee for desert. Absolutely delicious

Really sweet out of the way place surrounded by stunning countryside, we had a delicious lunch sitting in the garden. Excellent service and we will most definitely return! I had a very good Mackerel salad and others had proper scampi and chips.
