Went here with my partner, mother in law and brother in law for mother in law's 80th birthday lunch. Service was very attentive without being intrusive and the food delicious. We ate from the a la carte and thought this was reasonably priced for the quality of food and service. We asked for a wine recommendation and were given one...

With a Michelin star restaurant, this Elizabethen country hotel is really wonderful. Add a modern spa and you have just the place to get away from the stress of everyday life! The packages are great value and we left after celebrating our wedding anniversary feeling completely revived!

My husband and I were having a short break in the Southeast of England. The hotels included, Ockenden Manor, The Hydro, Eastbourne and The Hythe Imperial. See these hotel reviews elsewhere. The lovely village of Cuckfield is well known to us and over the years we have dined at Ockenden many times but have never stayed overnight. This was our...

We booked for one night to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. Having stayed at their sister hotels we had high expectations! We were not disappointed- from the welcome we received on arrival until we left; nothing was too much trouble for the staff, either in the hotel or the spa. Would thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for a special...

Was taken here for a Christmas treat by the wife. We used the spa and had treatments which was a relaxing experience. The spa facilities are good and plenty of space to relax. In the evening we went for the 8 course tasting menu........ the food was exquisite, every course was perfect with good wines to accompany them. Went to...

On Saturday night we went to Ockenden Manor for dinner on our wedding anniversary. We were greeted promptly and shown into the bar for an aperitif and given the menu and the wine list. The bar is warm and friendly and a great place to relax. After a few minutes the waiter came and took our food order but as...

My wife and I have just enjoyed a great night at Ockenden manor and spa. The 3 course meal included is the best food we've had in years. Staff were great, couldn't do enough to help, we felt so welcome and comfortable and the spa is lovely. Thanks for a lovely birthday.

My husband took me for one night dinner bed and breakfast for my birthday. We had a Character room - amazing. Lovely comfy bed - luckily we are tall as it was at least 12 inches higher my our bed at home! The food was amazing and service discreet but efficient. Two points I would like to mention. 1) a...

We had afternoon tea here. Thought we would treat ourselves to something special. The welcome was very nice and the staff were very pleasant and attentive. We were given a menu and the price showed £26. Our tea arrived on a wonky 3 tiered cake plate. We had 8 small rectangular sandwiches, 2 scones with clotted cream and jam, some...
