We stayed at Myrtle Bank for just one evening (unfortunately - as in we would have happily stayed longer). We’d already had a sunny afternoon on the beach and just needed somewhere to rest our head and / or grab a drink or two and watch the world go by… well we got that and more at the Myrtle. We were lucky enough to be in the annex with a waterfront view and after a Chinese meal from a fantastic local eatery we wiled away the evening drinking gin and whiskey and watching the sun set. Facilities were excellent throughout as too was the breakfast the next morning.

Excellent place to stay while doing the NC500. Blessed with great weather so great views over to the North of Skye and kind of sideways of the mountains in the Torridon pass. Sean (owner) was so welcoming and after we got talking to some locals left us to lock up ourselves at 2245. He had to be up early for breakfast. Which was the best cooked breakfast we have ever had. Other staff were great too particularly Callum. Midgies. Yes they are around and after the sun started to set they were out. Everyone quickly went inside which was fine. Sean tidied up with his midgie hood on. Highly recommended

We stayed here on our NC500 route, the location is great overlooking the loch, the hotel is a little dated but the staff and quality of food definitely make up for it. The evening diner was lovely and breakfast even better. A really nice hotel
