Ate last night 27th June 2014. Poor quality food, soggy calamari, old fish and starter served at same time as main course. Well meaning staff mostly, though some surly behaviour from others. The price £42, for,one starter, two mains a beer and glass of wine. Quality of seafood unforgivable as we watched boxes and boxes of prawns landed I the...

This was a return visit - we had a great expereince last time; so expectations were high. And we were so disappointed! From the moment were checking in, to be interrupted by an angry tour leader; to the Manager {Samantha} saying 'I am not going to her, she can come to me' things did not get much better. In the...

This hotel was recommended to us so we booked for a 2 night stay with dinner. First evening dinner was very good with quick service. Breakfast poor, we were given no choice of bread for toast, only fried or scrambled eggs offered. No marmalade in our dish of jams etc. a large teapot with only 1 tea bag and when...

Although the staff were nice I'm afraid the room we had was pretty dismal - not very clean and in need of an update. At £50 pp we expected better. This was a disappointing experience and we won't be returning.

After a six hour drive to deliver our Daughter to the Gairloch, we had lunch at The Old Inn, very friendly staff and a quiet, quirky bistro, our food was well presented and delicious. The cost is very much on par with other bistros/restaurants. We will be back as we very much enjoyed our lunch.

Popped in here for dinner this evening after several hours driving the west coast. Having been several times before, we know the food is really good. We were not disappointed!! One of my favourite places to eat on the west coast of Scotland. Will definitely visit again. Staff we welcoming and polite. Food was prompt but really fresh!

There was a friendly welcome to this Hotel. The room was clean, tidy, adequate and spacious with the usual facilities. The Food was a bit hit and miss. Some of the meals were good, some were not so good. The first night, service was good, the second night, service was slow, although they were busy. Some of the staff were...

Between the smell at the entrance of loos and old fried fish and the undisguised apathy if the lady checking us in , we were not expecting much - and we were right not too. Probably the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in, in a room over the bar and under the staff rooms ( which sounded like a...

Attended this pub for drinks and an evening meal two nights consecutively the first night the food was average to good as well as the customer service however on the second nights both food and customer service left much to be desired. Perhaps the regular chef was on his night off but the food resembled that of a micro Meal...

As the owners of two Bernese Mountain Dogs, it is difficult to find a welcome when eating out but The Old Inn is an exception. As soon as we arrived at our table, they were brought a bowl of water each and the staff were very friendly towards them. The food was delicious, the service faultless and the setting beautiful,...
