Alan was welcomed us with fresh tea and treats. We enjoyed this in front of a lovely view of the ocean. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was delightful. Terrific location. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the Gairloch View Guest House from 7th to 9th April, 2017. We managed to arrive about two hours before check-in time, but were nonetheless greeted with offers to help with the luggage (declined) and coffee in the lounge (accepted with alacrity). The coffee came with some really good cake, so double bonus. The first impression we got...

Gairloch View is made special by the wonderful host and hostess, Alan and Sheena. After we checked in it was time for tea and cake in the lounge area. They were helpful with recommending a place to eat that turned out to be just what we wanted. We are walkers, and Alan was very helpful with recommendations, maps, trail descriptions,...

Alan & Sheena made us most welcome in their lovely home which has outstanding views of the Loch from both the public lounge & dinning room. Our bedroom didnt share the views but otherwise was perfectly adequate. Alan provided good advice on local sights & places to eat.

A fine stopover if driving round the North Coast 500 route or visiting this area for other purposes. Ideally located and great views from the property. Very welcoming hosts, very clean and quiet plus a lovely breakfast. Can thoroughly recommend.

Tea was made for us on arrival (served with a lovely piece of cake!) despite excellent tea/coffee facilities in the bedroom. Alan was very informative and knowledgable offering a number of recommendations regarding evening meals and places to visit. The recommendations were spot on....

This is what all guest houses should strive to achieve. It is rather apt that Alan and Sheena's B and B sits on the hill as it is ,literally and metaphorically , top of the class. First of all, before you even book it, have a look at the website. Here is someone trying to give you as much help...
