The hotel is in such a lovely location. There are new owners who are very friendly and helpful and have already made many changes and are planning many more to modernise the hotel. We took our little dog, we all had a nice 3 day break. Thank you to the new owners, we will be back.

Cheap and cheerful. Average dinner, good buffet breakfast. Internet in bar and lounge. Good car / motorcycle parking space. Not much to do outside the hotel. Single room adequate for an overnight stay.

After the excellent B&B we had stayed at in the Kyle of Lochalsh, this hotel - at the same price - was a bit of a shock. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean & had a great view. However the bathroom was freezing and had no shower. After travelling all day we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant...

Stayed for one night. Read previous reviews and was a bit unsure. However room was fine beds were comfortable. Had meal at restaurant which was good. Breakfast was good. I liked it being a buffet. Only concern was the bathroom as there was no shower only a bath. I know there were rooms with a shower and this is something...

After reading some reviews, we had doubts about this hotel but our stay was very good. Our room was spacious, very comfortable (wonderful beds), spotlessly clean and had great views. The floors did creak, the outside window frames had seen better days (but still no rattling windows even when quite windy) and some of the furniture quite worn but overall...

The Gairloch hotel is well situated for travelling in this part of Scotland. The staff are wonderful and welcoming especially Craig. We were on an Itison deal and it was certainly great value for money although we did pay extra for an upgrade. Our spotless and well equipped room was so comfortable and the views were amazing. We look forward...

We stayed here for two nights and whilst the staff were very friendly the place is seriously run down. Considering it was the start of the holiday season and the hotel had been closed from November to April it was clear absolutely nothing had been done to improve the tired hotel. All public areas were tired and needed improvements and...

I was very concerned to have received your comments and would like to offer my genuine apologies to you for such a disappointing stay. I was concerned to read that you had several issues with your room that you were allocated. I have reported all the shortfalls to our maintenance and housekeeping team who have now rectified the situation and...

Thank you for your comments regarding your recent stay at the Gairloch Hotel, I am sorry your expectations at the Gairloch were not met on this occasion. The hotel is at present having some refurbishment work done, However I am surprised by your comments, the hotel regularly gets good reviews on the warmth and friendliness of the building even though...

Used to be a coach tour stop but now under new management. Generally, in need of upgrading. However, although room(big) and ensuite were tired, everything worked and was clean and the beds were comfortable. Bar prices were very reasonable and breakfast was good and freshly cooked.
